I've always wanted a boob job ever since I can...

I've always wanted a boob job ever since I can remember. My left boob never actually properly developed but I had a nice pretty (and little) right breast. I was so embarrassed that I had never told anyone, especially as the rest of the women in my family had majorly large boobs! I was always trolling the Internet and came across tubular breasts and diagnosed myself. I am sure lots of girls are with me... I've only ever worn padded bras, afraid to take my bra off and wear bikinis. It was only till recently I was in the financial position to get my breasts altered and I have a very supportive partner who loves me for who I am. He never once pushed me to have it done :). I'm sharing my story as I never found a similar one on the Internet and there must be girls out there like me!
When I turned 22, that was it. I'd had enough growing time and their time was up! My first Internet searches lead me to MYA, Transform and Harley Medical. Firstly, MYA was a pretty girl dressed up with her boobs above her chin... Not a look I wanted to go for. Transform were a little better, but again I'd only have one appointment with the surgeon. Harley Medical were absolutely pestering me even before I had my first appointment so it stopped there. After being fed up with these, I came across a clinic with 5* Reviews and lots of customer satisfaction in Liverpool called Sthetix. From the moment I called I felt assured with them. I managed to have several appointments with my surgeon Mr Alvi, no cover girl! I felt that he obviously took the time to invest in his patients, just like I was investing in him. He's been a breast reconstruction surgeon and I felt that was along the lines I needed to get the boobs I'd wanted all my life. I decided on 335/345 cc as I had assymetry there was only a certain range of allergan I could go for. Ideally I wanted 350-60 but there was no inbetween range! Mr Alvi recommended I go for a middle range size to not only stretch my skin but to avoid an uplift on my next augmentation.
After months of rescheduling work and arranging everything, the big day arrived. I was greeted in The Catherine Medical Centre and taken to my private suite. I was first on the list and taken all my precautions seriously. No alcohol for two weeks, make-up, nails, food and even had no drink from 6:30 AM. I had my magazines, throat lozenges and lip balm at the ready. I met my surgeon and anaesthetist and then off to surgery! I had told the aneasthetist my mother wakes up early on a aneasthetic, so he must of gave me a little extra as I was slurring words waking up, badly! My nurse Sharon looked after me brilliantly and poured my drinks etc.
What to consider: your dignity goes out of the window! I couldn't pull my nickers up, had a serious lack of appetite and you are by yourself a large majority of the time. I was so relieved to see my family, of which the centre were very accommodating with no strict visiting times and offered plenty of drinks. I am glad I stayed over night because I needed the assistance and pain relief (my partner can't cope so well now I'm at home). My 'boob band' really chaffed my armpits and took a good 24 hours of this before the nurse put my bra on before discharge. The car ride home was so uncomfortable! Why had no one mentioned this? Also, sleeping is in drips and drabs and when you eventually get comfortable, it's hard to get up!
I am 3 days post op now and in conflict with my boobs. I need them to move down so ive read not to have your bra on as gravity helps. Surely my surgeon should have told me this? I bought loose and tight bras, but I think I'm going to wear no bra during day and then have the support at night till my check up. I just dot want a bigger version of what I had! Plus lots of bruising has now surfaced as you can see.
I will keep you updated!

5 Days Post Op... Acne?!
Reese1990March 15, 2015
The pain finally died down considerably today! My left arm is still weaker than the right, plus the left boob throbs allot more. I put that down to the fact the left was smaller and is stretching :). I'm washing at least once a day but this acne is developing. Especially on my lefty ????. What's that about?! Lol. Sleeping is still disturbed but my appetite is coming back again which is a good thing. I can't wait for them to drop!

Looking good ;) I remember seeing a few ladies here saying they got acne a few days after. Happy healing!
