Worth Every Cent!
This is my review of 365mc. I went there to get lipo on my abdomen and thighs. I live in Korea so this might be different for people who don't.
I contacted them on their kakao chatline and after sending my pictures I was given a rough estimate of how much it would cost. I decided to book a face to face consultation for a month or so after my initial online consultation.
The consultation.
I went on one of their busiest days (a Saturday) but I didn't feel rushed or like they were trying to get rid of me. I've forgotten if I'd asked for a translator before arriving there but they asked me if I'd like one again when I got there and a really nice lady came to help me and translate for me.
I filled out the forms and saw the consultant/doctor. And we discussed what I wanted. After examining me she suggested I also do hip line and bra line lipo.
Thinking back, I don't know why I didn't think of it cause I did look like I have a higher bum and lower bum.
We did sonogram imaging to see how much fat I have in all those areas and how beneficial lipo would be for me.
I was then given a final quote which was slightly higher than the initial quote (but it included the hip line and bra line so I guess it was expected) and I decided to go for it, pay my deposit and make an appointment! I already had a date in mind and that's when I would be taking my leave days. I decided to do my blood work there before I left. I was informed of who my surgeon would be before I left.
It would be 3 months before my surgery.
I had to change dates once because something came up and I also hadn't committed to getting lipo on my thighs but I just let the online consultant know and she changed the dates plus booked my thigh lipo with no issue.
They then sent me another message confirming all my surgeons for the day (I had one for my abdomen and one for thighs).
The day of the procedure.
I fasted the night before and arrived for my morning procedure. I made my final payment and they checked my blood pressure etc to make sure I was okay. We took pictures again and I met with each surgeon to discuss my procedure. They designed my body, told me what to expect especially for the first few days after surgery and long term.
I had never had surgery or been in hospital for basically anything so I was little nervous though quite excited. I started with my abdomen.
Before I went under Dr Choi (my surgeon for my abdomen) came in and held my hand as they injected different things into me. She explained how they would work and the sensation they would give me. Asked me if I was nervous and gave me something mild to calm my nerves a little. She held my hand till I fell asleep.
She was so kind, I will never forget her kindness.
I didn't feel myself go under and next thing I knew I was waking up in my hospital bed with my doctors, nurses and husband around. I was very loopy so I barely heard what they said but they told me they removed a combined 10 000cc from my abdomen and thighs.
I felt no pain or discomfort. I ate some rice and chicken porridge, drank some juice and water, peed and waited a bit till I wasn't so loopy.
I was given an antibiotics prescription plus one for edema too. We were instructed on how to change and dress the bandages and then we left (also given written instructions). Through this whole process, my translator was with me.
Recovery.
The first few days were the hardest. It was a mixture of discomfort and pain for me I think but I barely took pain pills. I had to be careful when getting up because I'd lost a lot of fluids so I'd get a little dizzy.
I had my stitches removed exactly two weeks later. That's when I also started seeing the doctor (provided by 365mc) who went over my eating and exercise habits with me and prescribed me medication to help with weight-loss.
I started post-op treatments 3 weeks post-op. I was so glad to have them! I've had 6 post-op treatments so far. They were included in my final quote. So are the meds (for two months) and the compression garment.
One of my fears when I started researching hospitals was the possibility of a botched surgery but their main focus is liposuction so I was more confident going with 365mc. I was also concerned about hyper pigmentation but besides the initial bruising and swelling, my skin is going back to its natural colour.
The price was higher than a smaller doctor's practice but for everything I got and the care I received it was worth it!! I'm two months post op and will attach some pictures below.
