1.5 weeks post-op and already loving my results - better than I ever expected

I had Dr. Taranow for a liposuction procedure (upper arms, armpit, lower ab, waist, flanks). At the initial consultation, he spent over 1hr with me going over all of my concerns and listened to my expectations. His manner, expertise, and knowledge truly impressed me - so I cancelled all of my other consults and booked my procedure. His assistants were extremely nice - they helped me prepare for my procedure and gave me a comprehensive folder of all the info I need. I started taking Arnica and Bromelain a few days in advance. The day of my procedure, I came into a full house - with the doctor ready to go, a nurse to help me prepare and an anesthesiologist on-site. His team made me feel very comfortable and I was home before I knew it. The first day I had some pain/swelling under my compression garment but basically was able to sleep through the day with medication. The doctor called me the night of, and the morning after, to personally check in on me and made sure I was ok. During days 1-3, swelling was at its max, so I inserted lipo foams under my compression garment which helped massively. Starting from day 4, I was already seeing a reduction in swelling, and bruises have begun to turn deep purple/yellow. At the one-week mark, I returned to Dr. Taranow's office to take out my stitches. He showed me how much fat was taken out of my body and showed me the before pictures - it was night and day. He spent another hour with me to talk about my results and progression. He is such a patient man with a great sense of humor, I actually enjoy my visits to the doctor's office! I am currently 1.5 weeks post-op, and I feel that ~70% of swelling/bruises have resolved. This is a lot faster than I had anticipated - which truly speaks to the skill of Dr. Taranow and his effective yet gentle methods. I can already somewhat see the end-results and it is so much better than I ever expected! I highly recommend Dr. Taranow!
