Struggled with my Apple Shape for Years...
UPDATED FROM scorchedwaterx1
Side-by-side for easier comparison
Though I'd add an update to have the comparisons easier to digest...I've seen quite a few smart people do this and probably should've done the same! This is my November-body vs. my August-body. Some people have asked me about the price and it was during a great deal he had. It was (I think) around $5,500 for stomach, back (upper and lower), bra fat, and my flanks.

Some (needed?) notes
-The background is pink because i don’t want people recognizing my house. Nothing was edited, i would never mislead anyone in any sort of way!
-I am 5’9”, 22 years old (21 when i had the surgery), and I now weigh 141lbs.

Struggled with my Apple Shape for Years...
*THIS SURGERY WAS IN LATE NOVEMBER AND I WANTED TO HAVE 2 CHECK-UPS BEFORE I WROTE A REVIEW*
My experience with Dr. Richards was literally amazing. I came in for my consultation and he really took his time listening to my concerns...and completely understood my upset. Everyone was totally confused by my body. I'd been someone who was active all my life, but ALL MY FAT WENT TO MY STOMACH. So, I'd lose motivation and say "why am I even trying if my insecurity won't go anywhere?" and let myself go.
We actually set the surgery date the same day I came in for the consult as someone had dropped out of their date; it was in 2 weeks. Unfortunately, it didn't give me much time to get down to my best weight possible (to avoid loose skin), but I was going to be starting a class in a couple of weeks and needed the downtime to heal. They took the time to explain the surgery and calm me (my mom also came with so she could drive me home) and the surgery went smoothly. They provided the boards, faja, and everything needed to hold yourself together (I forget some of the names; sorry).
There were some issues with my faja though. It was too tight and rubbed my skin really raw. My skin got flaky and flaked off constantly, but it had nothing to do with Dr. Richards' abilities. I called in for it and they made an appointment immediately for the next day. They told me that it wasn't a burn (thankfully) and to continue washing with antibacterial soap and put dressings on it. This worked. Later on, I couldn't get in contact with the nurse assigned to me over the weekend and I started panicking bc the tube started feeling weird and I could feel fluid sloshing around inside me. I was ready to go to the hospital, but Dr. Richards actually picked up his personal cellphone when I called and walked me through what to do (I think he was at a meal, so sorry about that).
These after pictures (taken August 5, 2020) are a combination of gorgeous work, eating healthy, and exercising. I scar pretty easily and there is hyperpigmentation, but it's getting better as time goes along. Dr. Richards also said to return if the hyperpigmentation doesn't go away and we can talk about some creams to take care of that (in 6 months).
Last thing: LIPOSUCTION IS **NOT** A QUICK FIX!!!! YOU WILL GAIN IT BACK IF YOU DO NOT TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF!!! I should know, I gained a bit, then reminded myself of the recovery pain and got myself back together :)
Thank you, Dr. Richards! Forever grateful! 100% recommend!

I know! Crazy. Definitely need to keep exercising and eating healthy though :)
Love it! Congratulations!!! He did an amazing job on you!
thank you!
You look amazing. How painful was it? Total cost? I know I ask cost all the time on these surgery's I just have to see how long it would take me to save the amount, since I don't work I'd have get my husband to pay.
Thank you! It was quite painful for me because whenever i take opioids i vomit. i thought i'd maybe be able to stomach it for something this intrusive, but after it happened twice i stopped. So i couldn't take any pain killers besides advil once in a while & walk around my house every hour when awake and every 3 when i slept. That kept down my swelling. Total cost is in my update, but it was around $5,000-$5,500. it was during a great deal though, so I know that price for all i did probably isn't stagnant.
