1 month review

Today hits 4 weeks after the surgery. I personally don’t see a huge change for my abdomen. I feel that I still look bloated. I do look like I have less “belly” but I don’t look completely skinny though. Maybe i have to work out to tone my waist. Looking at my one month pics, I can’t say I’m very happy nor impressed. I have been doing low impact workouts only.. no HITT and jumping that will burn a lot of fat.. I eat pretty healthy, but some days, I do have more calories than usual. The doctor did say that I’m still swollen from my daily activities though, especially the lower belly, around my belly button. It’s the area I wish it will go flatter and flatter.

Follow up appointment and stitches taken off.

So far everything looks normal and recovering and healing as they are. I have no major concerns. My doctor went ahead and took off all of my four stitches today. One in my belly button, my butt, and my breasts. The doctor said that my wounds are healing very well, whatever i could see right now are just dry dead skins that are coming off. They do look very light and I'm pretty confident they will become lighter and almost invisible :).
For my breasts, my doctor had put in total of 400 cc's of fat each side, which is a lot! He said that at least 200cc's or more will survive. I was a 34 B before and my breasts have gone up at least one and a half cup size.
I asked him that if i will develop any lumps later.. he said that I may feel some hardness but he let me know that I most likely won't get them and he explained to me the technique he used to inject my fat into my breast and let me know that i have nothing to worry about. I asked him when would i be expecting to feel any hardness coming in and he said any time by now. However, I haven't felt any lumps or hardness as of today.. I think it might be still pretty early, so I guess i'll wait and see. My abdomen area feels soft too and nothing abnormal at this point. My sides are still sensitive though like when I put on some pants, i can feel the soreness or slight discomfort but it's not a big deal.. transitioning from standing to laying down in bed, my back side and sides feel discomfort.:/
but he told me that I can sleep on the sides too.
My doctor did tell me that I have an excellent skin condition to begin with and i have no loose skin. i am 27, 5'5'' 140lbs, and no kids, and I've never had excess wright loss. so i think that helps a lot with my recovery.
The only thing that is bugging me is that i cant quite start working out like before yet and resume to my physical activities... again, i did HITT, weights and lots of moving and jumping before for my fitness, so i cant do that at all. The doctor also talked to me about what kind of activity and how much i could do today. I can only begin to exercise at 10% of my usual routine. I appreciate how cautious he is with me in terms of limiting my activities. I have not done much these past weeks beside just stretching and walking. he said i could jog for 1 minute a day and see if i get swelling the next day. I went for a walk for over an hour yesterday roughly 10,000 steps. I was walking uphill too, i walked slowly and was taking it easy even walking uphill and I felt a lot better mentally afterwards! I aim to keep doing this every day and adding 10 % of body weight exercises like squats, lounges, Lateral Squat Walk to target the muscles in my glues, otherwise i'm going crazy and feel terrible D: However it's also important that I take it easy and slow.
Calories wise, i'm not on a diet but I consume my meals with lots of protein, fiber, fruits, some carbs and supplements here and there. I feel great physically already.. lol. Mentally i feel good but i exercising will make me feel beyond better.

Side note, I only asked my doc about the risk of developing lumps Bc I read reviews on here injecting too much fat (300cc's and more) result would go poorly.. he said that if I would get it I should be noticing them by now. (But he hopes not) I noticed nothing so far. But I will wait and see if anything comes up in a month or two.
I wish I had looked into a more natural way of getting my breasts done. I am 19 days post a mommy makeover, and I went thru a lot giving birth, but have a BA with a lift, not a very good experience.
I think you look fantastic. You made a good choice;).
Aw thank you. I'm sure you look great yourself too! I believe my result came in very natural. I could tell that my stubborn fat is gone. For some reason I wish I could have seen a dramatic change. But I think now that just working out will dramatically improve my overall look.
You look amazing! I'm following your recovery. Can't wait to see your 3 month update (to see ho much fat was retained). I was wondering about keeping in your side, o I'm glad that your Doctor said it was ok!

You look amazing! I’m going to do a Fat Transfer next week. Did you get any bumps in your breast? Curious as to what bra size you were before and now. Thank you so much for your updates!
Hi! Thank you! I just posted an update :).
You look AMAZING!!
Thank you so much!
Please keep us posted on the recovery. I'll have fat transfer to the breast in a couple of weeks, trying to correct a botched job that Dr Saltz did a couple of years ago on a breast lift. I also work out every day, with intense cardio and weight lift, so I'm trying to prepare mentally for a month without exercise.
BTW - You look great!
