I have always been a slim girl, i will say I eat healthy 80% of the time. About a year ago I decided I wanted to get really fit, I lost about 10 pounds everywhere but my middle section. I actually didn't like being that skinny but I was chasing that flat stomach. Anyways after seeing my boobs deflate I decided to go back to eating how I normally eat. Thats when i looked into cool sculpting (not good), I thought lipo was too extreme and expensive. Turns out in the long run coolsculpting wont work as well as liposuction done by a skilled surgeon and coolsculpting is more Expensive!
I have liposuction surgery scheduled for dec.10th. I will be doing lipo on my back, flanks and abdomen. So far my experience with Dr. Taranow has been great, and his front desk is always very helpful and pleasant. Im so excited and nervous!!

I can totally relate to the chasing the flat stomach comment. I had lipo and my only regret was that I didn't do it sooner!! Good luck!!!

I don't regret my lipo but I wish that my 2nd time around with getting lipo I would have definitely gotten a tummy tuck. Now I have to save, save to get a tuck. Which I am going have to go the Dominica Republic

Don't go to DR! I have seen the most awful results from Tucks done there. I'm a health professional and you get a cut rate price worn matching results. Terrible scars! Not worth it!

So everything has been going well so far. First day after surgery was the hardest. I was in so much pain and my blood pressure kept dropping cause of the anesthesia. I spoke to the doctor and this is normal. It really kept happening after getting up from laying down or from walking the first day. One thing my body did was blow up! My stomach felt like a balloon with water for the first 3 days. I spoke with Dr. Taranow and he told me i could come in the office and he can take a look.

As a i said Dr.t Taranow took a look and tried to drain me, turns out by that time most of my swelling was “inside” if that makes sense. He also gave me some foam boards for my waist cause the garment was digging into my skin and creating lumps on my sides. Im very happy I choose Dr. Taranow, cause he made himself available and I could talk to him about my concerns. Now one thing is I hate this garment, it has a zipper on the side that kept digging in and creating creases and more pain then necessary. I already ordered a second garment cause this on isn’t it at all. Also i tried to consume as little salt as possible. So me swelling would come down faster. The marks on my skin you see are because of the foam boards. Hoping I wont have to wear them once i get my new garment. I have a post op in a few days, I will update by then if anything changes.
