3 months post surgery update
It’s been 3 months since I’ve gotten my arm liposuction surgery and at the moment. I’m loving the results! My arms are still slightly swollen and sensitive to touch especially around the elbows but it’s definitely healing well! I heard that RF therapy really helps with the swelling and tightening as well so I’ve been looking up more on those. Hopefully after getting the after treatments, my arms will be completely healed. My arms definitely look a lot better than before I did the surgery and I feel much more comfortable and not to mention confident wearing more tight-fitted clothing! I have no regrets about getting my arm lipo surgery done at Girin Plastic Surgery and would absolutely recommend it to anyone who is thinking of getting arm lipo surgery done in Korea!
1 month post surgery update!
So far, there isn’t any discomfort and I am able to go about my daily life without any issues at all although it is a little sticky due to the compression garment during the summer time but thanks to the A/C, it’s not that bad.
The staffs at Girin Plastic Surgery would always check up with me through text to make sure everything is okay so I’m very grateful for that. I commute to work everyday and as I am working in the office, it’s not that bad considering all I do is mostly type but even when I go to the gym, I did not feel any pain or discomfort. My arms are healing well at the moment and it’s only been a month but I already love how they look! My arm is so much smaller compared to before especially from the side. I can finally fit into clothes that wouldn’t fit before or is too tight around the arm area. My friends say I look much happier and I also feel much happier and not to mention, confident as well. The flabs under my arms have also subsided and I am surprised to see that there is not much loose skin at all.
One of my concerns of doing arm lipo was loose skin but so far, I don’t really see any at all. Dr. Park made sure to only remove the amount of fat needed according to my needs. Because of that, the results look very natural which I am very pleased with!
I can’t wait till my arms are completely healed so I can finally show them off without feeling insecure. In conclusion, I can say that I am very satisfied with the results so far and I wholeheartedly recommend this to people who are thinking of getting arm lipo done too!

Update on arm lipo
I already had a consultation with the doctor, but I had another consultation with Dr.Park once again right before the surgery to mark up and design the surgical area.
As he marked where the incisions will be and the coverage of the surgical area, he explained and how much of a fat could be removed. Most of incisions were made overlap with my natural wrinkles(such as right above my elbow), so I didn't think it would be noticeable even if the scar remained anyways, but the doctor said that the scar would start to fade after about 3 months.
I asked many questions, can't remember what exactly those were about, but it was good that Dr.Park answered all of those with patience. He was still very friendly, which I appreciated much cause his vibe helped me to calm down much.
The preparation for the surgery itself was quite simple and quick. I put on the surgery gown and went to the washroom to make sure my face and hands were clean and everything was okay before entering the surgery room. In the surgery room, all the staffs and nurses made sure I was calm and ready for the surgery. That helped put me at ease knowing that I’m in good hands of professional staffs and doctor as well. The whole process was really easy and all I remember was falling asleep and waking up in the recovery room. My arms were very sore but the it was more like discomfort instead of pain. It was very bearable and I was able to move my arms quite freely from the day after.
I definitely saw a huge difference when it came to the size of my arms although it’s still very much swollen. My arm is much smaller, less bulkier and more straighter. The bruises were pretty bad but was almost all gone by the time it hits 2 weeks. I can’t wait until my arms are fully healed to see the final results! The compression garment also helped shape it a lot and also help reduce the discomfort caused by friction beteeen the arms and body!
I went for one check up so far after the surgery and during the check up, the doctor made sure to look at my arms carefully to see if there are any issues with it. He also explained what he did in full detail as well as the amount of fat removed from each arm. The nurse who removed my stitches was also very kind and helpful. She made sure I knew what to do in order to take care of the incision scars and even taught and helped me put the compression garment back on in the right way. Would highly recommend coming here!
