Great Surgeon but Not the Best Choice for Revisions

I'd like to preface this by saying Dr. Neinstein is a super likable guy and talented surgeon. I came to him for a revision after being botched by another doctor in the hopes he could make a significant impact and repair the damage. Although he was very empathetic to my situation and enthusiastic at the opportunity to help me, I can't really say it was worth my time or financial investment.
The pre-op appt felt extremely rushed. I was essentially in and out of the room in 5 minutes and he was off to his next appointment before I could ask any questions. His office is very high volume so I get it, but I was hoping to get more out of that encounter.
With the exception of one specific area of concern where he excised some skin, there is very little overall change to my appearance compared to when I first came to see him. 90% of the defects and scar tissue are still there under the skin more than 8 months later and were either not addressed whatsoever, or he was not meticulous enough with those areas to make a significant difference.
I understand most of his reviews are positive and that I'm an outlier. I understand revision cases are more challenging, but for $20k+ I expected to have a little more than what I consider to be a 5-10% improvement overall.
I had a follow up with him via zoom which I had to specifically request several times as the standard process seems to be having these follow ups with his nursing staff. He did listen to my concerns but unfortunately no next steps were determined or discussed for me to return for him to essentially finish the job. As such my journey continues and am currently going to consultations with other doctors in the hopes someone can finally get me past all this.
