Revision Liposuction, Fat Grafting, BBL

I spent over 5 years looking for a surgeon who I was confident could improve the results I had from previous bad liposuction. I consulted with many plastic surgeons - all over the world - and was hesitant about all of them, until I got in contact with Dr Rosique. He was super responsive, happy to answer all of my questions in detail, addressed all of my concerns, and was totally honest about what he could realistically do for me and how he was going to do it. I'm now 5 weeks post op and am super happy so far - I'm still swollen but will upload pictures in the coming weeks.

I originally had minor liposuction to my inner, outer and posterior thighs when I was 18 and the results were really bad. I then had a revision on my knees/inner thighs to try to improve some of the issues I was having but the revision made everything worse. I consulted with many surgeons in Australia about another revision but none were confident that they could help. I then consulted with Lipo experts in South Korea, who were also not confident they could help. Over the next few years I consulted with 3 liposuction revision/fat grafting experts in the US (2 in Beverly Hills and 1 in New York). One of these surgeons, Dr Cat Begovic, was confident she could help me. Her consultation fee was about $500 and she quoted me about $25,000 for the surgery. I was willing to get a loan to pay for it, but she and her staff were really not willing to answer my questions or address any concerns, were not at all friendly and to be honest I found them a little rude and I felt really uncomfortable with them, and while I was confident in her skills as a surgeon, I wondered if this is the way they were treating me before I'd even handed over my money, what happens if I have concerns or complications after the surgery? I contemplated whether or not I would have my revision done with her for several years and even went back for (and they made me pay for) a 2nd consultation because I thought maybe I just caught them on a bad day, but I just never felt comfortable with her at all.

I found Dr Rosique while I was reading through scholarly journal articles (this is how committed I was to finding an expert surgeon- I didn't go into this blindly!) about fat grafting to the butt and particularly improving the butt crease as mine had become really long and deep after my initial bad liposuction. So I got in contact with him and flew from Australia to Brazil! My decision was 100% based on his expertise - I absolutely didn't go to have surgery in Brazil because it was cheaper there. He was super nice, spent a lot of time with me before and after surgery and during all my follow ups. He even visited me in the hospital a few times before I was discharged, checking on me and helping me go for a walk around the hospital.

I am already happy with my results at 5 weeks - everything looks super natural and I have a normal and feminine body shape for the first time in almost 8 years! I'm not expecting that I'll have to or want to have any more surgery done, but if ever I do, I'll definitely be going back to Dr Rosique, I'll never trust any other surgeon with my body again. My only regret is that I didn't find him sooner, I could've been loving my body all this time.

I've had a lot of people messaging me about their own revision lipo cases - I want to just be clear that as far as I know, dr Rosique doesn't consider himself a revision specialist. I chose to go to Dr Rosique because I thought he was the best surgeon for my particular case - my main concern being my butt - and I wanted a surgeon who I felt was honest and really cared and who I felt comfortable with.
