What was meant to be a transformative journey was a traumatic one

Update: Sciatica and physical therapy

$9,200
My primary care doctor confirmed I now have Sciatica from the lower back lipo (which I originally asked not to be touched). I have to get physical therapy, take a bunch of medication, and the nerve damage is causing shooting pain in my right leg. This could have all been prevented if the dr just listened to what I requested. He just did what he wanted, not what I paid and asked for.

Have your arms improved by now?
No, my arms, chin and stomach are still hard/fibrosis despite the massages and gallons of water I drink. The fibrosis got even worse under my chin.
This is terrible I’m so sorry you’ve been through this. Can you talk to a lawyer or someone to at least recoil some of your funding back?
It's been a nightmare. It's more challenging since he is abroad. I also asked for surgical notes, and noticed he mentioned a few things which were false/never discussed. I just hope nobody goes through what I went through.
It may be possible that your prone to thick scar tissue since you said you developed keloids your scar tissue under the skin may be more severe then the average person. He should have discussed this or asked if this has happened in your life before.
What is the solution to this? The areas of lipo are so hard despite massages and faja. I miss my old body :( I did this to feel confident in a bikini and now I'm more insecure and feel deformed with huge scars and hard lumps. Do you recommend a surgeon who can fix this in the future?

Botched arms

After spending close to a thousand dollars on massages + daily massages done on myself, my arms have not improved. I feel so sad that I’ve spent my hard earned money on this and will have to go through another surgery which will likely cost double :(

Hi, im so sorry you experienced this i hope your results improve with time. what price did you pay? I really recommend stay in your faja book massages the fibroids can get better. Every place that has been lipoed needs massage. Take more time before your next surgery so you heal. You may need aspirations in your arms.
I paid $9,200 plus close to a thousand for massages. What's an aspiration? Yes, I massage regularly and wear my faja. My primary care recommend physical therapy for what he did to my back but I'm open to solutions for my arms. Thank you for your comment and advice.
No problem, im just hoping your find improvement. Im shocked by your reaults and the care your received or lack of. Your shouldnt have had to go through this. Do you have a contact you would be comfortable sharing. So i can give u some info privately about the price u paid? An aspiration is when they remove fluid with a needle sometimes this needs to be done more regularly to stop the scar tissue building between the gap of the skin and tissue.you also need to buy a tighter faja to give u more compression. From my tributo or just search faja. They can be pricey so bear that in mind. Buts its needed for proper compression
Thank you for your supportive words. I am traumatized and hoping once my physical therapy is completed, I can work towards fixing everything. Thanks for the clarifying the aspiration. I was drained multiple times with a needle in my back, but not arms or stomach. Is there a way to send a DM here? I'm not quite sure what you mean about discussing pricing but I'm open to chatting with you. You seem to have a lot of knowledge on this matter. Have you had surgery before?
I have seen alot of people who have had. With the price i do think you paid alot
Yes. I know it's overpriced especially for the horrible experience and results.
If you click through to a persons profile - by clicking on their user name- you can send them a message. I sent you one :)

Revision Liposuction

I'd like to share an honest review of my experience with Dr. Ersin Gonullu, the hospital staff, and the outcomes of my procedure. To start, the coordinator and aftercare nurses were supportive and wonderful to work with. However, my overall journey was quite challenging.
My initial consultation for revision liposuction targeted my upper back, bra rolls, stomach, double chin and arms. During a brief 10-minute evaluation before surgery, Dr. Gonullu unexpectedly focused on my breasts (telling me I need surgery on them) and began marking areas I had specifically asked him not to touch. This included my upper butt (glute medius) and lower back, where I had chronic pain. Despite my explicit request, these areas were operated on.
Upon waking from surgery, I was in intense pain, uncontrollably shaking, freezing, and struggling with rising blood pressure. I found myself laying flat, choking on vomit, fearing I would die. The nurses noticed my distress but provided minimal assistance, leaving me with just one sheet for warmth, and ignoring or laughing at my discomfort. The catheter was yanked out of me as I was forced to walk to the toilet. I had vaginal pain for 10 days.
The following morning, Dr. Gonullu visited and despite my severe pain and vulnerability, his approach was rough, and he instructed me to leave the hospital even though I couldn't walk or speak due to exhaustion. On that day, I discovered scars on my butt and realized he had removed fat from my upper butt (glute medius) despite my clear request not to touch that area. This discovery devastated me, making me feel trapped in a nightmarish situation.
Throughout my recovery, I encountered additional challenges. I developed seromas in my lower back, an area I had expressly asked the doctor to avoid. These complications necessitated multiple draining procedures. I have a scar from a large needle that was inserted in my back for drainage.
Pain relief throughout the process was inadequate, as Turkish pain relievers are equivalent to American Tylenol. I repeatedly pleaded for pain relief, enduring weeks of agony. The doctor's response was to administer anxiety medication, failing to address the pain effectively. After 2 weeks of excruciating pain, I was finally prescribed proper medicine.
Despite diligently following instructions, I now face fibrosis, ongoing pain in my lower back, reduced butt size, swelling in the fupa area, stomach fibrosis, lumps in my chin, and an unintended loss of breast tissue due to liposuction in my armpit. I am now 5 weeks post op and have been to the ER twice in my hometown due to unbearable pain.
The absence of compassion from Dr. Gonullu was evident, and his lack of follow-up care further deepened my disappointment. The emotional and physical scars from this experience are substantial. Every scar has turned into a keloid. What was meant to be a transformative journey has turned into a traumatic one, leading me to anticipate revision surgery, along with significant expenses for aftercare products and massages.
Be cautious in your research. I do not wish this experience on anyone.

So sorry to hear this! How are u feeling now? Had the surgeon checked to see how u are recovering? All the reviews on Ersin have been so positive, sad to hear you have suffered x
He never checked in on me after the initial hospital visit. In the hospital he was so rough and rude. I'm really unhappy and sad that I chose him as a doctor. I still have fibrosis under my chin, stomach and arms, horrible keloid scars, the upper part of my butt is so much smaller (I used to love my butt), and my lower back is still swollen/sore. I'm really sad when I look in the mirror. Overall, it will cost thousands to fix it, not to mention the emotional damage. If you look on google, he threatens people with lawsuits who write negative reviews. And there are some negative reviews on this site that were similar to what I went through.
Glad I read this, I was so close to booking this dr for bbl and 360 Lipo in January
I am so sorry to hear this, thank you for sharing your experience. I hope you are recovering and things are getting better for you
Thank you soo much for sharing, I almost booked him for May 2024.i have done my best to find a bad review on Dr Ersin and could not find it, all the positive reviews were just too good. Every time I'll try to follow people who him seemed to have done surgery on, on Instagram the won't follow me back, when ill DM and them ill get no response. Like I even searched up an Instagram page called Ersin Dolls but no response, it all just seemed so suspicious. I even

last year put in deposit to do my surgery 2024. And the irony is he has even increased his price despite doing a botched jobs on people.

I'm so grateful for your review as it confirmed what I had suspected. I soo sorry that you went through all of that. Yor review I'll tell you now has saved soo many people money and from suffering the same traumatic experience. Thank you for your honesty and bravery.
Hi! So sorry you had to go through this - i wrote a similar review. The thing with Dr Gonullu is that he does not listen before the operation and he does not accept his responsibility afterwards. God forbid you want something that doesn’t fit his idea of aesthetics, which imho is a vulgar one. He ends up doing whatever he thinks is best anyway. And I don’t he ever agreed to do a revision of his owned botched work. I also have botched inner and outer thighs, a bigger butt than I asked for and his initially super accessible and helpful staff suddenly turned aggressive, hard to reach and condescending.
Oh gosh, reading these reviews is giving me anxiety, I paid £500 reviews based on dr Ersin G positive reviews, I’m booked for next month. Flights are booked also. Should I continue with him or try and find another one for the same day. And lose the deposit ? Are your results really bad? His before and after pictures on instagram ain’t that great either.I don’t think liposuction is his specialty
I hope you cancelled. Please let us know. Nothing is worth risking a botch. I think if even half these girls were actually digging to find negative reviews and really realized how many women come out of this scarred and damaged and devastated- they would never even consider it. I know I wouldn’t have. There is no happy outcome worth risking a bad one. I learned that lesson too late. I hope others figure it out soon. Especially all the young girls out there growing up with all of this shit normalized on Instagram and thinking it’s easy and fun. I was 35 when a doctor took a simple breast augmentation and used it as an opportunity to relieve me of thousands of ccs of fat from my lower body- without permission. A board certified, reputable, North American, kind doctor who had done a great job on the breasts of a friend of mine. And he seemed a good man. Apologetic. Gave me a refund. But that doesn’t reverse the job. This shit happens. Every day. Even with the best of surgeons and those are incredibly hard to find. Even if you do find a skilled doctor who ALSO happens to be a good person- a rarity indeed- they still have bad days. For all you girls out there who haven’t done this shit yet- or who have and have been lucky enough to have it go right- stop. Don’t. Run. Learn to live with and love yourself as you are before someone makes you wish you could just be you again.
It’s really not - he’s good at lipofilling the butt & hips but his liposuction from my inner thighs was so so bad, it’d be laughable if it wasn’t traumatizing. I am saving up for a real surgeon to fix it.
I'm so sorry to hear your experience, why he took away the upper butt? The reason I want to get a bbl down is to look like a shelf, I would be so mad if the surgeon took away my upper butt
