Botched Thighs Are Finally Fixed!
Botched Surgery:
On 23 May 2021, I had liposuction surgery with Dr. AbdulShahid Fadul ????????? ??? in Bahrain. The agreement prior to the surgery was that he liposuctions 500ml of fat from both thighs and lipo-fills it into my hip dips to give me a natural curvy look. When I woke up from the surgery, I was shocked that he actually liposuctioned 1000ml from each thigh and filled the hips and buttocks with 840ml each side. I was so depressed and devastated after the surgery because my thighs looked very thin and my hips looked wide. My body looked fake and disproportionate and I also developed skin irregularities, loose skin, and skin discoloration all over my thighs and hips.

Revision Surgery with Dr. Rosique:
I had a virtual consultation with Dr. Rosique where he advised me to gain weight for the revision surgery to be able to harvest more fat from my body to re-sculpt my thighs. So, I had put around 12 Kgs of weight for the surgery. I booked the surgery for 13 July 2022 and flew to Ribeirao Preto in Brazil to do the surgery. Thankfully, he could harvest 1800cc of pure fat from my abdomen, back, and hips and injected it into my thighs to regain their fullness and correct the skin irregularities as much as possible.
I must admit that Dr. Rosique took very good care of me throughout my entire revision surgery journey. He saw me in his clinic before the surgery and assessed my case thoroughly. My case was very difficult but I was confident that he was capable of fixing my body and delivering the results I was aiming for (which he actually did).
After the surgery, he visited me in the hospital and made sure I’m doing well. Then after discharge, he saw me 2-3 times per week in his clinic to clean the wounds, change the tapes/bandages, and give me instructions as needed. Honestly, this was the best doctor-patient experience I have ever had in my life. He is not the kind of surgeons who take the surgery fees, perform the surgery, and then forget about their patients. In fact, he assured me that I can text him anytime if I have any concerns or questions related to the surgery even after I return back home.
I am very pleased with the results of the revision surgery done by Dr. Rosique. I may need one more round of revision surgery after 6 months. The aim of this round is to fill some parts of my thighs that fat couldn’t survive during the first round due to fibrosis that was caused by the botched surgery. I would like to liposuction the remaining fat in my hips during the second round too to give me a more natural body curve. He couldn’t liposuction all the fat during the first round to avoid loose skin on the hips area.
It’s also worth mentioning that Dr. Rosique has a very professional and friendly team. I flew to Brazil by myself so I was a bit nervous since it was my first time in Brazil and can’t speak the language, but his team helped me so much during my stay in Brazil and of course during the entire surgery process. I would like to give special thanks to Vanessa who was very welcoming and helpful. She is such a sweetheart!
