Feeling botched - I totally regret the surgery

This is my second time returning to Dr. Patel. He performed a rhinoplasty on me in 2019. I was happy with the results and returned to him in September 2021 for liposuction of the abdomen and flanks. Right now, I am 3 weeks post-op and very happy with the results.
Dr. Patel and Jenn are very helpful with the post-op instructions, recovery and always available to answer any questions/ concerns. I highly recommend this office. Can't wait to see my results continue to improve over time!

This is an updated review for Dr Patel.. my feedback is up to date, and subject to change. I am now one year post op liposuction. If these are my final results, at this time, I do not recommend this practice for liposuction, specifically. I do not have a smooth contour but rather very bumpy, lumpy and raspy looking results. I look deformed and have to hide my body and afraid it will be a source of insecurity for the rest of my life. While the results seemed good at first (I was still swollen), I don’t believe i had the proper aftercare, despite me following Dr. Patel’s exact instructions. Perhaps I could have prevented fibrosis if I was more educated on what to do. After my surgery, Dr Patel did offer 2 RF sessions to try and improve the results. It helped slightly but still left me looking atrocious. He was hesitant to provide a 3rd RF session as I was not fully healed yet. Although I am one year post op, I am perhaps still healing. I hope I don’t continue to look this unsightly forever. To be clear, i am not saying Dr. Patel is a bad surgeon. I’ve had other procedures with him that came out well. I am just saying at this point, i would not recommend for body contouring/ liposuction. My one year post op is coming up with Dr Patel so I will see what his advice will be to fix this and I will update my review accordingly. Hope this helps someone…. Thanks for listening.
