Wish I Did More Research & Didn’t Get Sucked into the Instagram Hype

Hi I thought I’d post an update about my ongoing trauma from my botched lipo- Dr Lanzer has since had his clinic closed and made headlines for malpractice towards his patients.
Anyone who had a negative experience should look into the class action currently filed against Dr Lanzer and his team.
I thought it was all in my head that I had terrible exp and ongoing botched results however the proof is now out that he’s damaged lots of women. Hopefully we’ll get some resolution from this .

It’s been over 2 years & ive lost 16 kilos by exercising (Lucy whyndam videos on YouTube) and as I mentioned the more weight I lose the more the imperfections appear. I’ve taken some new photos as I prepare for my mummy makeover surgery with Plastic surgeon Damien Grimsell Horizon plastics and thought I’d post the botched pictures on here too. You’ll see the uneven lumps as well as the nerve / weird scar tissue I have running up my right waist line. Also you’ll see the particular shape I’ve been given to my curves it’s a horrible way to live, when you have body issues.

I should have known from the start something was off, the poor treatment began when I had to constantly wait over 2-3 hours every visit, you’d just bounce from waiting room to waiting room. Finally I meet Dr lanzer and he explains the surgery, he was short precise but very knowledgeable, enough to turn my curiosity into something more. My next visits and final decision was made when a lovely man from the finance department or maybe his business manager- Brad called to go through everything with me and helped with the price. He was caring & helpful took time with me and honestly he was the reason I booked the surgery.
My surgery comes along I was told of my risks they were possibly scar tissue that can appear as lumps or bumps and light scaring at the incision points and swelling etc. however I was told that dr lanzer had over 25 years and he was the master of tumescent liposuction and rarely had any issues or botched jobs (which I guess is everyone’s fear going into surgery).On the day of, everything was fine & surgery began with a nurse eventually dr lanzer came in to begin. Hardly spoke a word to me he worked on my inner thighs / above knees, he wasn’t in there for long until he excused himself. Suddenly another dr walked in Dr Arinoff - he explained he was second surgeon under dr lanzer and took over the surgery which was my stomach hips waist flanks lower back & shelf (kind of all round muffin top). I had never met him or even spoken to him, I was never told I would have him has my surgeon and it was very awkward- I was not happy.Post op the nurses were helpful and appointments were quicker than the usual 2-3 hour waits. However I had lots of swelling on my right hip/ waist and the Dr told me I had fluid trapped from the surgery which needed to be drained. This caused a puffy section / like a bubble, so one side of my waist was nice and hourglass shape the other protruded outwards. 2 years on I have a weird nerve / tendon looking scar tissue you can see when I lift my arms on the right side where the issue was. See photos … Which I’m told can’t be fixed as it could be dangerous.I had many uneven lumps bumps and uneven sections that looks very bad, I was told they could do a touch up however I was warned of possible results and not all surgery comes out perfect, I was then told I’m lucky I got that much fat removed for what I paid so I shouldn’t complain. I wish I went to a plastic surgeon not a cosmetic surgeon who is Instagram famous. I am now getting revisions done by Damien Grimsel at Horizon plastic surgery who specialises in reconstruction and scars so judging by his reviews I think I’ll be in much better hands.** note for photos, from the time I had surgery I was 85 kgs, the last photos taken I’d lost 12 kilos from walking and workout videos on YouTube - on my next review you’ll see I’ve lost more weight… the more I lose the worse the imperfections show up
