Time Off

I’ll be using my PTO to recover but I have 2 questions:
1. If using PTO do you need to let your employer know you’re having a procedure done? Do I need permission/clearance to come back to work?
2. How much time should I realistically take off? I am having surgery on a Friday so I took Thursday and Friday off and the following work week. Is 11 days reasonable?

It honestly depends on what exactly you do for work. If you have a job that requires you to sit down at a desk 2 weeks should be okay. But, in all actuality it really depends on how you recover and feel. Also, not sure how your job works. But, if you are using PTO you don’t need to tell them you are having surgery. You could just say your going on vacation etc. unless your job has different requirements. Anyway! All the best to you with your upcoming procedure :)

Hey you will need your garment, foam sheets (4 or 5) a back board and an board to go inside your garment and also a bbl pillow, Arnicare gel and pads

No, I’m actually getting mine from avana the package that I have comes with a free garment. But they have them on Amazon too
