no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went to (Beleza) Pura Medical and had a consultation with the Medical Assistant, Brittney Sowers for liposuction on my abdomen. I was told this was a painless procedure and I would be awake the entire time. I told her I would go home, talk to my husband and get back to her. The next day I scheduled my appt. She sent an invoice to my email which was immediately voided. At the time, I thought it was an accident, so I asked her to send another one. She did and we paid the $500 deposit. I was told by Brittney my procedure would take place at a different medical office downtown (50 minutes away) and on a Saturday (April 23rd). I thought it was strange, but medical clinics have multiple branches, so I agreed. I had followed up with the clinic owner and he made sure I had my appt scheduled and had paid the deposit. (At the time, I had no idea he had no record of this). The week of my procedure came and I was told to pick up my meds. I went to Walgreens...no meds. I was told 2 days later to try again....no meds. The night before I went again and only 1 med out of 6 was there. The morning of, we were on our way and I explained the issue with the meds and I was told they would figure it out that day. I arrived at the clinic and it was dark and doors were locked. I texted Brittney and she said she would page the DR. 15 minutes later, the Dr let us in. (Dr. George Armendariz) This was the first time I had met the Dr. We sat in the waiting room and about 5 minutes later heard screaming from the Dr in the back office. This went on for about 5 minutes. Brittney finally arrived and she found out that the Dr's son had taken home a piece of the liposuction machine by accident. (why did the son have access to this machine?) So about 45 minutes later I was finally in the back and on the table. Dr apologized and everything was fine. I was given 5 shots to numb for the holes to be made for the liposuction wand. This was fine. Not really painful. Wand inserted to spray numbing solution throughout my stomach. This did not feel good, but was tolerable. I was left for 15 minutes to numb and they returned and began. Things were ok until they got to the area around my belly button. I felt everything! This did not number whatsoever. Brittney told me this is common and is called "the ring of fire" and "ring of death"...(I guess because you feel like you are being stabbed to death?). The Dr moved on to other areas and came back and I would cry and scream and he would again move to another area. Back and forth, back and forth. He kept trying to numb the area, but it didnt work at all. After 2 hours, the Dr stopped. Maybe he felt guilty? Maybe other people heard me screaming throughout the building? So only half the procedure was done and half the fat removed. I was bandaged and sent home. Finally got the rest of my meds. Now here is where it gets interesting. I emailed the owner of the clinic to explain to him what happened to me during my procedure, amount of pain...etc. I found out that Dr Armendariz and Brittney had essentially poached me from Pura Medical. Brittney sent the first invoice and then voided it to confuse us and the owner. The second invoice was to Dr Armendariz directly and not the clinic. The reason I had to go to a clinic downtown and on a Saturday was because I was not being treated by Pura Medical, but the Dr himself at a friends office. The owner of Pura Medical knew something was fishy and suspected something, but allowed me to go through with the procedure instead of telling me something was going on and saving me from this nightmare. I was not the only one this happened to. Both Dr Armendariz and Brittney were fired and reported to the medical board. I have a ring of fat sticking out around my belly button and a lump of fat above that this is painful. I wasnt sure I was healing correctly so I asked the owner of Pura Medical if I could come in and see the new Dr to be checked out. This would have been my post op appt. We show up yesterday (May 19th) and the Dr was not in. I specifically wanted to see the Dr and saw the new Medical Assistant instead. This was an absurd and ridiculous experience and now I need to an actual cosmetic surgeon so they can fix what Dr Armendariz did to me and we have spoken with several attorneys.
