8 weeks out & SO happy!
It’s been 8 weeks since my midsection lipo at Sono Bello & I’m beyond happy. I’ve lost a few pounds since the procedure (besides my midsection) & I feel so much healthier. The pain/discomfort during recovery actually lasted about 10-12 days. I had a lot of itching & some tenderness at the injection sites for a few weeks as well, but by week 5 or 6, I was completely free of any discomfort. Also, you will have some hardness & lumpiness while healing. Mine finally started to soften & visibly disappear this week & my stomach is looking great. My skin has snapped back & I’m looking forward to my first Venus treatment on Jan. 3rd. I’m confident that will make it even better.
Keep in mind, everyone is different so, my recovery journey may be different from yours. If your recovery takes longer, be patient. Continue to wear the compression garment because it definitely helps. I ended up purchasing a few more from Amazon (not Isabella brand) & I really love wearing them. They’re so comfortable & my body looks so smooth in my clothing.

I Definitely Recommend!
I had liposuction at Sono Bello St. Louis/Creve Couer on my entire midsection, including the side of the bra/back fat area & so far, I’m very happy with my experience. My surgery was only yesterday so, I won’t start seeing real results until my swelling & bruising is gone, but my experience at the office is worth the early review.
I am very pleased with how my surgery went. Everyone at the Creve Couer office was great. The front desk staff & the nurses were very welcoming & put me at ease from the beginning. Dr. Martinez did my surgery & I highly recommend her. She’s so personable & friendly & she made me feel very comfortable. She was honest when I asked about the procedure & what to expect.
Yes, you are awake during the procedure & yes, you do feel some of it. I was given meds for relaxation & a few antibiotics about 30 minutes before going into surgery. Lidocaine is injected into the areas that are to be worked on & I did feel those injections. If you’ve ever had a shot at the doctors office, that’s what you’ll feel. It’s a needle so, it is what it is. As far as the lipo itself, I felt some pressure from the action of the probing, but it was bearable. The feeling is more weird then anything else simply from being so aware of it happening. I just closed my eyes & relaxed which was easy to do because of the meds. (I was very groggy.) All in all, I was quite comfortable & felt no extreme pain. The procedure took about 2 hours & I was fine when getting up to get dressed to go into recovery while waiting for my friend to arrive to take me home. Once the lidocaine wore off later in the evening, I did need the prescribed oxycodone for the pain, but it put me to sleep & I slept through the night without any issues. Today, I’m having some slight pain, but I’m only taking Tylenol for that. Dr. Martinez called me this morning to check in on my recovery & told me most of the pain & discomfort should be gone in a few days. Sono Bello encourages at least walking for some activity after the surgery so, last night I did a light 15 minute ride on my Peloton & another ride this morning after the Tylenol kicked in & the activity felt fine.
I most definitely recommend Sono Bello. The experience so far has been very good & the cost is also quite reasonable compared to going to a private practice surgeon.
