I went in to see Dr. Kontis striving to solve a problem that had bothered me for years - a double chin that I could not seem to get rid of. The women in my family tend to have this feature, and after consulting a few places and also consulting about Kybella, my hair dresser recommended Dr. Kontis and I soon put in for a consult.

From the beginning Dr. Kontis was warm and easy to talk to, which easily set aside my nervousness about coming in for a plastic surgery consult. What made me trust her even more is that I had put on my consult sheet that I thought I may want a chin implant to help with jawline projection, and she quickly said that would be unnecessary. I decided to go ahead with the surgery and schedule was fairly quick and easy as well as payment. I did the liposuction awake with the help of a Xanax and Dr. Kontis and her surgery team were quick and efficient, asking throughout the procedure if I was ok and quick to respond if anything was causing any discomfort. I left wrapped up but on my own feet and excited to see the results!

Healing was easy and I managed pain with Tylenol exclusively - all recovery points were explained to me and my husband well to facilitate my healing. I am very pale and bruise easily (if you know you know) and expected there to be a lot of dark bruising. I was (happily) wrong! I had one point of deep bruising that faded quickly with the aftercare products provided by Dr. Kontis' office. Healing went relatively quickly, with the worst swelling happening a day or two after surgery and quickly resolving afterward.

If you are an instant results type of person like me - the results are worth the wait! The results were even better than I expected once I saw the side by side photos of my new jaw line. Thank you a million times Dr. Kontis! I have been recommending her to my friends and coworkers since, and if I decide I would like to consult about any further work, I won't be looking anywhere else!
