ORIGINAL POST
Lipo of the Upper/lower Abs, Waist, Flanks & Axillary Sides
I am about a week post op and so far I am LOVING my results! I am 29 years old, 5’3” and have two children. Even as a young child Ive struggled with a “roll” in my mid section. (I jokingly say my mom put my diapers on too tight as a baby) Though plastic surgery was something I always wanted I didn’t really see a possibility of having it anytime soon with 2 kids and not too many resources for the downtime/recovery. Through several years of research on different procedures I had came across Lipo 360. It was right up my alley! Little downtime, drastic enough results and a promising flat mid section like I have always dreamed about! I looked into several different places over the course of a couple years really entertaining the idea this might be something I could do. I researched what I needed to “research” on the dr and the facility, looked at after care, before and after pics, the process, the risks, local/general anesthesia, I googled EVERYTHING multiple times so I was pretty confident when I was ready to commit I knew fully what I was getting myself into. I had stumbled across Atlanta Liposuction Speciality Clinic online and then sometime after came across them again on instagram. I enjoyed that they had videos during actual procedures and their overall rating seemed to suit me just right. Finally I decided I was ready for a consultation and if all went according I was ready to book!
Timeline of Procedure:
CONSULTATION: 11/13/19. The place was clean and inviting and the staff has been a dream. I had my consult with Allie, who basically was there to evaluate if I would be a good candidate or not. During that time I mentioned my axillary side being one of my concerns at which point she brought in Dr Cole to assess. He had a calm yet no bs air about him which I liked. I was comfortable and anxious enough I decided I was ready to book. Being as that I covered all my bases prior to the consult I was looking to book ASAP and lucky for me I was able to set the date for 11/25/19, just a few days before thanksgiving and the kids would be out on break.
PRE OP: 11/15/19
Pretty quick and too the point, went over procedure and medications, did bloodwork and basic exam.
DAY OF PROCEDURE: 11/25/19
Arrived at 7:15 am And went back a few minutes after arrival. Had vitals taken again and given the anxiety and pain meds to get the procedure going. I was awake for majority of it though couldn’t feel much besides a few times near the rib area. Dr Cole and Antoinette made me feel comfortable and confident through the process. Afterwards I sat up and ate a snack and was bandaged with pads and put into my compression garments. After the hour drive home I felt pretty sore and was ready for a nap. I took it easy that evening and was moderate pain but the meds did help ease it. My husband helped change the pads because I soaked through a few of them after only a few hours. Sleeping was a nightmare I found even with the meds I could not get comfortable to sleep more than 45 min at a time. Though i was very uncomfortable seeing what results I could already made me feel like it was definitely worth the pain.
