Two weeks postop

Still swollen but so happy so far. I've been drinking lots of water, staying away from sodium, which is so hard to do and walking as much as possible without over exerting myself. I feel fantastic, most of the bruising is gone and the incision sites are closed. I am getting a rash from my faja, I have very sensitive skin but the swelling has gone down so much I can wear a tank top and soft stretchy pants underneath. I'm also in a M faja so that's motivation enough for me to continue to eat healthy and stay hydrated.

Oh baby am I sore!

Yesterday, I had my post op. I walked into that office like I had been recovering for weeks, barely any pain, today is a different story. I've had lots of drainage leakage from the incision sites nothing out of the ordinary, nothing that I've been concerned with. I do think that because of the excessive draining and the pain meds are wearing off, again nothing concerning. I am very swollen. I have been moving around, walking and bending my legs as much as possible. I've been staying hydrated and eating, I think it has helped with the oral meds and nausea. I also had my first lymphatic massage today, I saw stars but I didn't tap out. My drain was almost full by the time she was done. It's the first time I've been without my faja, getting it washed and line drying seems like it's taking forever and life seems so much more comfortable with it on. My back hurts so much without it. I feel sturdier and walk better with it on. Back to bed I go, taking advantage of my time off.

Lipo 360

I decided for my 50th birthday I would give myself a tune-up. I'm very conscious of my appearance, I'm an avid gym-goer, I eat well and super conscience of my health. I also have a young boyfriend and although he loves every inch of me, I feel that I need to keep myself as youthful and fit as possible. I followed Dr. Salas on IG for a couple of years and loved the results I've seen on his profile. I booked my consult virtually and explained what I wanted to get done and why. My quoted price for the procedure was very reasonable and I felt comfortable with his advice, it was everything I already felt I needed done. There was no pressure. I already have been blessed with a big booty so a BBL was never on my mind, this lipo is for stubborn fat spots that no matter how much I diet and exercise, I just can not get rid of them. I also wanted a 2nd breast reduction but Dr. Salas recommended I do one procedure at a time and after researching, agree it's best. A 2nd breast reduction is more of a reconstruction and healing is a bit more taxing on the body.

Here I am, the day before surgery and very nervous and anxious. I hope everything goes well and wake up not to banged up.
