I suffer with lipedema - a fat disorder where the fat cannot be exercised or dieted away (it's debilitating and most often leads to disability). So the only treatment is liposuction. I have had the 1st of 4 surgeries with Dr. Volshteyn to address the lipedema...he did the knees to ankles area on both legs...removed about 20 litres of fluid (liquified fat) which is about 40 pounds! AMAZING...I am still in recovery, but I am about to move without the feeling of dragging sandbag legs... I'm looking forward to the rest of my surgeries as I have never felt better in my life.
Dr. Volshteyn is an excellent doctor - caring...helpful...willing to go the extra mile for his patients.
