After years of hating the pocket of fact below my belly button that would not go away no matter how much weight I lost, I finally decided to take care of it. I did my research and found that the S.A.F.E technique garnered the best results and had least amount of rippling or weird side effects. Dr. Barrett was the only doctor I could find the LA area that practiced this technique and after reading his reviews I made an appointment for a consult. His office staff was amazing and Rachel walked me through the whole process from start to finish. Dr. Barrett was calm, professional and laser focused during the consult. I knew I was in good hands. The day of the procedure went like clockwork. The next day when I took off the compression garment I told my mom I would be fine looking like that forever, because while I was swollen the I could tell the fat pouch was gone! Halleluiah! There was not one part of this procedure or the aftermath that was not fully and perfectly explained. I can finally wear a just a sports bra when I workout without having to be self conscious about my stomach. On a side note- don't let Dr. Barrett's silly TikTok/IG videos dissuade you from going to Barret Plastic Surgery. He absolutely knows what he is doing and is very professional and takes his job and practice very seriously.
