Good Experience - Lipo

Now in my 40th and after 2 pregnancies I decided to get lipo for my love handles and my lower belly area. Nana hospital and Dr. Choi were recommended to me by a trusted source. I was, however, scared that the result of the lipo might not look natural. I also had many more concerns and questions. I got consultations at other clinics as well but in the end went with Nana. Nana is a busy clinic. It is clean, well organized and the staff is well trained and friendly. Lana and Honey from the global team helped me in English to navigate the pre- and post- surgery care, including filling out all necessary documents. They also helped with the translation so I could communicate with my doctor. It really helped having them by my side. This made the whole process a breeze. As for the surgery itself: Dr Choi let told me before the surgery that the result of the lipo at my love handles would look very natural and that the skin in that area would recover well. However, because of my pregnancies I had a lot of loose skin in the area of my lower belly. The lipo would help me look a bit slimmer but because of the loose skin my belly wouldn't look completely flat. Knowing that I went ahead with the lipo surgery as planned. On the day of the surgery I went in early. My surgery was scheduled for 10am. By 12.30pm I was already ready to leave the hospital. I had three incisions. Only one of them leaked fluid, right after I gained consciousness, and it did leak a lot. Luckily almost all of the fluid drained that first time immediately when I got up. After replacing the gauze I was good to go. I was able to leave the hospital without assistance and take the bus home. I wore a tight garment around the surgery areas for one month after the surgery. It was surprisingly comfortable to wear and the tight pressure actually helped with the pain. I only took pain and anti-inflammatory medication for 3 days after the surgery. After 4 weeks the swelling had gone down about 80 percent. As predicted by Dr Choi the result of the lipo looks natural and nice but with loose skin remaining around my lower belly. All in all I cannot say that the lipo had a drastic effect on my figure because I was already quite slim. But it is noticeable to me and I feel more comfortable wearing some of my clothes. In the end the lipo didn't replace my excercise regiment but it helped me shaping my figure in the two areas where diet and exercise had had little impact. That said, I can recommend Nana and it's staff to anyone considering to get plastic surgery. From my experience it is a professional, well run hospital and the doctors are highly specialized and trained. The pre- ans post-OP care is great and thanks to the staff from the global department there are no language barriers.
