Almost 2 years post

Two years after and this is still one of the best things I’ve done. It’s completely changed my body shape. I’ve been up to 190lbs since (yes it’s possible to get fat after lipo friends) and back down to 145lbs and my body shape never returned to its pre surgery form. It has made my confidence skyrocket.
Just a note about weight gain after lipo, it happens. My body just gained weight differently. My body shape stayed the same just bigger.
The photo posted with this post was my body shape before surgery versus today 2 years after the surgery. I had pretty significant love handles that never went away, even at my smallest (which I was not before surgery) and now I have a nice subtle hourglass. Any questions let me know :)

A month post op

I don’t have much to report in terms of aesthetic changes, I haven’t seen a big change since my last post. Which is impressive considering I’ve been a human garbage can of stress the last month. My weight has stayed steady with about a loss of 9ish pounds.
My bruising has been gone for weeks and I’m rarely tender to the touch anymore. If I’ve not worn my garment for longer than I should then I do start to feel sore and weirdly unsupported. So I tend to still wear a garment 23 hrs/day. I have a super high compression one that I wear when I’m at home and at night and I have a less bulky and slightly less compression one for during work. It’s just easier to put under clothing and I don’t overheat.
I’ll post pictures maybe in another month or so when I see if there’s more changes.

Two weeks post op

I was officially two weeks post op on Wednesday. The swelling has gone down a ton, I have no pain (other than tender to the touch), the itching has finally stopped, and I’m feeling capable of doing my usual activities. I’m really happy with my results so far. I feel like I’m way more confident and I’m doing things that I wouldn’t have ever considered before simply because I was uncomfortable in my body. While the first like 3 days sucked big time and I was like nope would not recommend (and I have a high pain tolerance, I once fell asleep getting a rib tattoo) now that I’m passed that stage I feel like it’s worth it. A few crap days to feel the confidence I do now is worth it.
