Round 2 with the one and only Dr. Okoro

3wks and 3days out and so far I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my results! This Dr. has blessed hands, he really care about his patients. I remember him telling me when he was marking me up on the day of my surgery he was telling me that he was putting my scar directly along my bra line so that if I want to wear a bikini I can. I said I would never wear a bikini he said well I'm going to make it possible for you if you ever decide to. I'll tell you I heard him but never thought it would be possible but looking at my body now, I'm sold. I would recommend Dr. Okoro to anyone thinking about or looking to have surgery, you will not be disappointed.

See that's just one more thing that sets him apart from other surgeons. I really love everything about this Dr., his staff, his office I could not be happier with my choice. This is PO day 4 and I must say its been pleasant not much pain at all. I think the worst is behind me, I'm not sure why I didn't receive drains? I mean I had drains in but nothing to catch the blood that was coming out needless to say the last 4 days has been a total blood fest YUK......But being a woman I handled it as we so often do, we just rise to the occasion!!!!! Sorry I didn't get to post yesterday, was somewhat out of it, the pain is not to bad on scale of 1-10 its about a 3 as my body starts to stiffening up its a bit more painful. I was told to be at the surgery center at 7am I arrived around 6:30 just as the staff was arriving, so I sat there until 5mins till went up to the double door rang the bulk door bell the nurse came out to greet me, I signed a few papers from there it was surgery mode, not waiting hours, there was no one there but me they had me try on my garment to make sure it would fit, Dr. Okoro enentered the rm joyfully saying good morning to everyone the nurse told him they my garment fit welln however he wanted to make sure for himself he's such a perfectionists. From there I went in to be marked up again such a perfectionists its like watching an artist sculpt so I say to him and the nurse Tracie how do you'll look at bodies like mine all day Dr.Okoro replies its not a problem because he envision what your body is going to look like once he's done, just so awesome. He makes you relax and just know all is well. From there the nurse Darlean prep me for my IV, apparently the nurse Tracie is in training Darlean suggested she do my IV which she wanted to make sure I was ok with. Normally I wouldnt be but they are all so nice I couldn't say no just because they are all so nice. She did great with the IV. Then enters Brian the anesthesiologist who's great by the way, asked a few questions explained to me what all he was going to do, then said lets go ahead and get this party started now, he injected something in my IV from there started to roll me into the surgery rm exactoy at 8am. From there I don't remember anything. I woke up around 3pm and was in the car by 3:19pm the ride to the hotel it wasn't to bad it was trying to figure out the best way to sleep. I made it through the night, they changed my appointment from 3:30 the next day to 7:30 a.m. I went in all was well in and out in less than 30mins. I finally made it home jumped in the shower and now I'm resting. Now I'm starting to enter into swell hell but I'm ok. Thanks for reading will post pics soon.
