Reviews you can trust, from real people like you.
How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.
If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

Botched Liposuction - PLEASE Don’t Go!
I’ve gotten many procedures done (rhinoplasty, breast lift, breast augmentation). This was by far the worst and most painful experience. I’ve been meaning to post this review and I hope this can save someone from going through what I did.
Firstly, Dr. Alejandro is friendly. No issues there. But here’s the highlight of what happened:
-I got to the hospital/clinic and was the only one there, Dr. Alejandro walked me through and brought me to his office.
-he marked up my body with a permanent marker, and when he saw my backside, he said “are you sure you don’t want some in here?” which immediately shot up red flags - a BBL is an entirely different procedure and I was moments away from being operated on.
-The nurse who put in the IV in pre-op was struggling to get it in. When I got wheeled into the OR, 3 nurses stood above me speaking in Spanish, pointing and speaking to him.
-When I woke up, the IV was in my opposite arm.
-I woke up mid surgery with my arm in the air and then they put me under again. Terrifying.
-I think because I woke up, they gave me way too much anaesthesia and I was knocked out for another 8 hours. I woke up in the evening in a room.
-the pain was excruciating and most nurses didn’t speak a word of English.
-They took my compression socks off when I should have kept them on for another 2 weeks, all of the nurses had different answers for my questions
When I had my first shower, I took off my garment and noticed a GIANT dent on my upper abdomen (see photo). I believe it was caused because he didn’t remove enough fat and the garment he put on me wasn’t long enough for my body (I’m almost 6 feet tall) and it left a giant indent. I was researching and everywhere it said to get massages to prevent edema (hardening of the tissues) but they told me not to, so I listened. BIG MISTAKE! They also didn’t give me the proper foam/compression so my results looked horrible.
On top of this, my arms were filling with fluid and I had to extend my trip another week because I had to go back to their clinic several times to get it removed with a syringe.
When I got home I booked 20 lympathic drainage massages (80 bucks each) with a specialist that does post-lipo as well as ultrasounds to help with the edema and she said she’s never seen anything like this. We tried everything to fix it, but no luck.
I also had to get even more liquid removed from my arms, and bought new fajas that had more compression.
Im so embarrassed to wear a swimsuit or be seen naked, and I’ll have to go get liposuction revision if I want to fix it.
I only went to this surgeon because my friend got her rhinoplasty there and had a good experience.
Please, please, please. Don’t go. It’ll end up costing way more money, and you’re going to cause long term damage.
