License should be revoked

$11,000
I’m not surprised to see this doctor license is on probation given he performs surgery in a check up room instead on an actual surgery center or medical surgical room with proper equipment.
Looking back when I went to Dr. hagstrom I didn’t know any better and didn’t do proper research as what he did was illegal. I had revision surgery with another board certified doctor who attempted to fix the damage he did.
Avoid at all costs and go to a surgeon who has an actual practice and surgical room with proper sanitary equipment and protocol in case of emergency.

Revision 2021 with another doctor

After a year and a half later I’m finally getting revision surgery with another doctor to fix the irregularities left on my stomach + back to be happy with my final results. Will be having another round of Lipo with jplasma to tighten up the tummy and laser treatments to get rid of all the scars left from the first time.

How did it go?
I ended up having my revision surgery with Dr. Mendieta in Miami who is Baird certified and performs surgery in a surgical room not the pre op room. My new doctor did lipo and jplasma to tighten and get my stomach flat and fixed my belly button. same price but got a way better result

7 weeks post and Swollen

Its been 7 weeks since my surgery and my lower abdomen and flanks look dented and maybe still swollen? At this point im not sure whats going on but the pain has subsided and really hope the lower abdomen flattens down as well as my flanks as it looks uneven both from the front of my lower abdomen and sides.
I checked in with the doctor at 3 weeks and he said my lower pooch would go down after time and pointed out my back roll that was still there and said i might need revison surgery in a few months to even out the areas that may have been forgotten. I really hope i dont have to undergo surgery again since it was extremely painful but if its not looking better at 6 months this may be the route I take. Im not sure if the revision surgery would be an additional cost but hope it wouldn’t be as this should of been taken care of the first time around.
I began working out again this week and plan to increase time and pace each day. Im excited to have a lymphatic body massage to help remove any waste and toxins from my body. Ill post pictures after massage to see if it helped evenout my abdomen.

Thank you so much for these updates! I also have dent concerns from my procedure and am hoping they smooth out with time. I really hope they do for you and am looking forward to hearing more soon, especially about your flank area beneath your hip bone.
I hope and pray for you to have a smooth recovery.Do you have lipo done with j plasma only on tummy or back and arms too? And what is your feed back about jplasma is it worth paying extra because I have been told to go for it to have the result and it's $1500 extra only for the front (tummy area ).I am little confused because couldn't find reviews about j plasma.
Would love to hear updates about how you are now? I’m considering the same procedure!
I would definitely recommend doing your research and make sure the doctor has not only an Instagram page with before and after pics but a website with before and afters. I was only shown pictures on his camera and the only reason why I chose him was because he worked at Elite Body Sculpte which was famous for Dr. Rollins where many celebs had work done by him. I definitely think he has a good technique but I was just left unhappy with my results as I was left uneven in the front and back.
How do you feel about it now after this time? Did you get a revision surgery?
Hi, I would definitely consider going to a board-certified surgeon in a professional facility Where they perform surgey not the consultation room which was very sketchy. I would not recommend going to the surgeon as the fact that I felt everything during surgery was scary. The irregularities never went away and This doctor recommended me not getting massages far as every other doctor recommends getting massages after any type of Lipo. Im getting a revision from another doctor and will post on that journey soon!
