Changing my Life

WORTH IT
I am only 4 days post op but can already tell that my body shape has changed and I can’t wait to see the final results. The pain has been unbearable I think that’s the only thing I wasn’t prepared for.

oh wow! please keep us posted. I'm about to book my procedure to get rid of my big ol saddlebags. How is the pain level?

The pain was horrible the first 4 days. I really couldn’t do much other than lie in bed. But I’m 8 days now and walking around fine - still pain but it’s much more bearable. I’d recommend taking a week off work at least. I had surgery Wednesday and was back at work Monday and that was definitely too soon

thanks for your honesty! One PS told me "oh it's barely any pain at all" and "you can definitely go back to work the next day" LOL...I'm not so sure about that!

Everybody is do different , just like every ps is different there truly isn't one answer for everyone

I am so happy

Watching my new figure take shape is amazing. My saddlebags and banana roll have been holding me back my entire life, I can’t remember a time they didn’t cause me stress and anxiety but I’m feeling confident. I know it’s still only early days but I’m excited!

I have my first lymphatic drainage massage tomorrow too.

I really miss working out so I’m eager to get back to that next week even if it’s just light workouts.

Wow! Very obvious. I am going to have legs , Lowe back and bra line 9/25 and I am super nervous. What is you best advice ? What should I buy for post recovery ?
August 22, 2020
I think just making sure you rest and being prepared that you’ll be in a lot of pain! I think that was the biggest thing for me I was not prepared for the level of pain but it’s very intense those first 5 days. I didn’t really use anything special for recovery just rested and drank lots of water

I'm just curious as a frame of reference. Have you had any other surgeries , procedures? I had. A Tat this past February and feel if I made it through that lipo had to be less painful ?! But who knows:) thoughts? Opinions? Anyone else ? Thank you !
August 22, 2020
I haven’t had any other surgeries but I’m fairly tattooed up and I would say lipo is much more painful

Ha I meant to say I had a tummy tuck not a tattoo. I was trying to say a TT must be worse than lipo

I had a MLD massage 4 days ago and felt that really helped with swelling. The bruising is slowly going down and I managed to go to the gym for a walk today. However as soon after I started walking I got extremely itchy - I think something to do with the nerves and stuff. It got pretty hard to handle so I’ll probably make sure I have antihistamine before I try that again

You look soooo good! Congrats!
Can you tell me exactly what procedure you had done? Jus lipo?
August 24, 2020
Just lipo! Flanks, lower abdomen, inner outer front and back of thighs :)

So again how long would you take off work ? Pain level ? Did you gone see general ? Are you were a garment ?
August 24, 2020
I had 5 days off work (surgery Wednesday back to work Monday) hindsight I would’ve taken a whole week off to recover. Surgery was done under General Anesthesia and I’ve been wearing my garment non stop
