Photo update

Jus a few phots the I haven’t had time to post. I’ve been full released for all activities as of May 22. Currently on vacation and enjoying having a flatter belly and definitely reduced saddle bags. I’d like to see even more improvement in these areas but he says I still have a lot of swelling so we shall see.

14 days post-op

Doing extremely well post-op. This garment is the most annoying part but I know it’s necessary. I’m hoping after all the swelling goes down my saddle bag region will have more improvement. I haven’t posted in awhile but I’ll add photos from recovery and most recent. I had my 3 week follow up Wednesday and I got the ok to stop wearing the garment, which has been nice. I’m having to massage some hardened areas. Overall I’m happy with results so far.

Day 5 Post Op

Hi everyone! I went back to work on Monday (my procedure was Thursday). I was a little uncomfortable by the end of the day. I do a lot of sitting, driving, bending, kneeling and minimal lifting at my job. I’m a NP bedside wound care specialist at nursing homes. Buuutttt it was very tolerable. I have worn my garment basically 24/7. I take it off for maybe an hour to shower and let my skin breathe a little. I am completely off of any prescription pain medication and only taking Ibuprofen at morning and night (which I don’t believe I’m supposed to do yet but I can’t take the narcotic pain meds (too consitpating and Tylenol doesn’t do squat for me personally). I highly recommended wearing the compression garments because they are to help reduce swelling!! Reduced swelling=hopefully better results. I can tell a difference in my lateral thighs/saddle bags but I’m hoping the swelling settles and there’s even more of a difference, otherwise I may try coolsculpting to finish them to my desired size. I don’t think my weight has fluctuated at all really (they took 3L). You wouldn’t know I’ve had the abdomen liposuctioned besides the tenderness. No bruising there, it settled all in my pubic region (most distal sites really). Lots of swelling and tenderness there and in my thighs! Feels like I’ve had the hardest workout of my life basically. Sleeping well. Overall for 5 days out I’m dong well and would still do it again.
