I will be getting my surgery on the 21st of February and I'm very excited. I will be getting a breast reduction and liposuction of the abdomen, bra line, triceps, and chin. Even though I haven't had my surgery yet, I can say Dr. Corbett and his staff has already made a great impression. I will keep updating as I continue this journey!

I took some pre-op photos before I left the house and weighed in at 258 and I’m 5’11”. BMI: 35%. I found it hard to find other women on here that look like me so hopefully by sharing my journey, other women that have the same body shape can find me and follow along. I will be posting some pictures in 2 days when I can shower.
I arrived at the surgery center at 8am, filled out a couple consent forms, paid my fees, and met the people that would be in the operating room. Everyone was so helpful and welcoming. I loved it. I was extremely comfortable but also expecting the worst (I overestimated the amount of pain I would be in haha). I got the iv and waited for another hour. I saw my surgeon and the next thing I know I was wheeled back into the operating room around 10am.
I woke up and the nurses were super nice. I really enjoyed my stay there. I was kinda nauseous when I sat up to put my clothes on but I was given some medicine to help.
Pain level is a 4/10. My body is sore and swollen but it’s bearable. I’ve been taking my medicine religiously and it’s been helping a ton. My waist already looks smaller and I hope it goes down even more because I look pregnant lol but I know it’s just swelling. I also have to be very careful when walking with my new boobs sometimes I can feel a little pulling and it lets me know I should slow down. The best way I can describe the pain is it’s kinda like dropping something really heavy on your foot and having to deal with the soreness afterwards. It’s not too bad though.
I will keep updating!

The soreness gets easier everyday. I’ve been taking my medication and taking it easy.
Pain level: 3/10
Today, I was able to take a shower and it felt so good to be clean. The strips around my incisions fell off in the shower so I made sure to put gauze under my boobs. I’m sooo happy with the looks of my new boobs even though they are still swollen. I’m starting to get the feeling back in my nipples so I’m excited about that.
My arms and stomach look better than they did before, but there’s only a slight difference so I’m praying the swelling goes down and I can get the results I desire. The binder that I was given folds on itself sometimes and makes me feel a little uncomfortable so I ordered a Faja to wear to add more compression and smooth out any lumps.
I will continue to update as time goes on!
