Liposuction and BBL - the results are very, very minimal

ORIGINAL POST

Liposuction and BBL

popsicle123

I am 6 weeks going 7 weeks post-op from full abdomen liposuction, back, bilateral arms, front & back bra rolls and BBL (Brazilian Butt Lift). I paid $25,000 thinking that I will achieved what I wanted since the client coordinator (Rachel) made it sound very promising. Long story short, my BBL's result was very, very subtle -- minimal where it looked like they only grafted 100 ml per buttocks. They were able to harvest 2700 ml of fat and only grafted 500 ml per each buttock.

I also made sure Dr. B knew that I wanted my hips wider (I wanted an hourglass figure) but nope that didn't happen at all. Most cosmetic surgeons will say that 30-40% of grafted fats will not survive. Ok so, why didn't she put more than 500 ml? When she was able to harvest 2700 of fats. Another thing I didn't like is that both arms didn't really have much of a difference yet I paid so much for them!

If I had know the results are going to be so minimal then I should've gone to another doctor. This company Elite Body Sculpture made it sound so good and promising on their IG page, they charge double than other places and yet the results are very very minimal. Never again! Please do not waste your money... go to other board certified doctors there are plenty of them out there. Elite Body Sculpture is a waste of money!!!

I’m post-op day 3 and I must say that I agree. Took my garment off yesterday to shower and was horrified at how mis-shapen I look now. I have a huge FUPA that doesn’t look like it was worked on at all, although it is pretty numb. Can’t tell if it’s just swollen or if that’s fat. Anyway, when you call to inquire, I was just told that it takes 6-months for full results, and basically don’t give you any projections. Stark contrast from the assurances they give before you post your payment. Now it’s “I can’t really say”, “We can’t know”… I agree, go to a known and trusted professional and pay less. I feel like I underwent a procedure for not a lot of gain. Not to mention, I’m super itchy and can’t tell if I should be worried about infection, or if this is just a normal part of healing.

I went to elite body sculpture in San Diego and they did the airsculpt thing. I was very itchy too during the 1st up to 3rd week. If I had known the results would be this minimal I should’ve went to a regular surgeon (not airsculpt) and pay less.

I am doing my due diligence on this procedure after meeting with Rachel and Dr. B today. Do you have a before and after photos to show the minimal results that you care to share?

I don’t have a before and after photo anymore. I try to forget the big mistake I’ve made. I don’t have uneven results but same as what others have experienced I’ve underwent a procedure and not have a lot of gain. I paid $25,000 when I could’ve gone to a better one in La Jolla. I hate the scars it left me and I remember hating the recovery process also because I was super itchy. It wasn’t an allergic reaction it’s because the tissues inside were healing . I never experienced this from the traditional liposuction I’ve had years ago with Dr. Mofid.
I’ve met someone who went to Dr. Brahme in La Jolla and he does liposuction through the navel so you’re not left with scars (if this is a big thing for you due to hyperpigmentation).

I agree with people from here that said Elite tells your a lot of reassurance and then total opposite once the surgery is done! Ever again!!!!

Persist. Contact the Director and plead your case. Dr. B. Did a good job on my waist and back rolls, a good job on my outer thighs, not so great on the mons area below the bikini line, and the flanks were left uneven. The left side was left with more fat than the right flank. I waited the 6 months as instructed and she refused to revise it. I persisted with the director. I don’t back down after spending so much money. They just recently did the right thing and I had the revision by Dr. Markelov (he’s rarely there) and I also got my inner knees done. He is amazing. He removed 300 cc’s from the left flank which made it even with the right side so I was right about it being uneven. So far I am now very happy with my results but I did have to fight for it. The mons area is questionable because it might be a result of the DIEP flap reconstruction on my bilateral mastectomy which involves similar to a tummy tuck I had done last year for breast cancer, so I’m leaving that for another time and not holding Elite accountable for that..I can’t in all fairness. Just an FYI, the 5 liter max doesn’t necessarily mean a goal for everyone. They have to use good judgement as to the amount of fat left behind. They can’t take it all. Overall I’m happy with Elite in San Diego. I just had to persist for the best result.
