I Am Still in Awe!

I’m from Rochester, NY and had liposuction of the abdomen, ilium, inner and outer thighs, and axillary performed. I had become very unhappy with these areas as I've aged and my fat has accumulated and redistributed itself throughout my body. When I noticed how similar my shape had become to my mother’s, I realized this was what I was genetically predisposed to, and I wanted a procedure that could help me feel better about my appearance and be maintained without any drastic lifestyle changes because I have never enjoyed vigorous exercise and didn't want to have to restrict my moderate and consistent calorie intake.
I could not possibly be happier with Dr. Amalfi’s work. Everything you’ve heard is true - she is absolutely an artist. She really had her work cut out for her but she sculpted me in a way nobody else could have. Please see my before and after pictures because they demonstrate better than words. These were taken last week - 3 months after my procedure. I am so grateful to her!
Clothing had always been a way I felt I could express myself creatively and I no longer felt comfortable wearing anything besides men’s tshirts and baggy sweatpants if I couldn't just wear a bathrobe. I was hardly socializing at all anymore because I felt insecure about my appearance and simply couldn't find clothing I felt hid my shape well enough.
I chose Dr. Amalfi because she was familiar to me from growing up and socializing in similar circles and because of her reputation locally. Additionally, a member of my family had a breast reduction and lift and is so happy with her results and how Dr. Amalfi and all of her team treated her.
I recognize that these reasons for wanting a surgical procedure are very superficial. I also know that the risks in my mind were far outweighed by the potential rewards and I have been proven right in so many ways.
I wish that personally and as a society these things were less important, but sadly that is not the case so I firmly believe that if something makes you feel good and it doesn’t hurt others, you should do it. I am happy to get dressed in the morning now! I run errands and socialize without that dark cloud looming over me. I feel so much freer to devote time to connecting with others and carrying out daily responsibilities that seemed so daunting before. That is priceless to me.
