2x Medina Doll

I am woman in my 40s who opted not to have kids (so no tummy tuck needed). I always had a waist and hips but I just wanted more junk in my trunk and some body sculpting. I typically ranged in sizes 4 to 12 and being only 5'2" I didn't feel as shapely in the larger range. So at a size 12, in spring 2014 I did my 1st round (lipo & bbl) in the U.S. I was pleased with the lipo (back to size 4) but after the natural loss of my bbl, I knew I wanted a 2nd round. In 2015 I interviewed doctors in Beverly Hills, Manhatten, Miami, Atlanta and the Dominican Republic. Cost was not a factor, but natural results were. I'm a REALTOR in DC, MD and VA and I didn't want to look like a fake barbie doll like you see in some of the other patients who head to the D.R. I'm not judging but instead saying that just isn't a good look in my profession. So after much research, on Nov 3, 2015 I became a Medina doll. I was extremely pleased with my lipo 360 and bbl (which stuck almost too well this time). My mistake though after this round was that I didn't eat and exercise like I should have. As a REALTOR in 3 states, I spend long days on the road and when I finally sit down to eat whether fast food or a sit down meal, I'd over do it. Needless to say, I picked up weight back to size 8 (but now in weird places since the fat went to non-lipo'd areas). So April 30, 2019, I went back to Dra Medina for 360 lipo (under arm fat area to waist) and because my bbl worked from from her in my round 2, I just asked her to fill in a small amount of fat at the bottom of each butt cheek. My [RS bleep] was already a head turner thanks to Medina so I didn't want a full bbl. Now this round 3 is by far the most painful recovery because of the scar tissue from having 2 prior rounds. I'm now exactly 30 days post OP and I'm pleased with how my body is looking. Having experienced the same procedures in the U.S. and in the D.R , hands down the results and post OP experience in the D.R. are superior. Example, I preferred staying in the D.R. hospital a night or 2 after surgery. In the U.S. they kicked me out an hour after I came out of anesthesia. Anyway back to Medina. I think she is very capable and I felt safe with her as my surgeon. I think her bedside manner is a bit abrasive and at times even disingenuous but again I went to her for results and she met that expectation, both times. Now let me say that her staff, in particular, Jorge, her driver, and Dra Collado both have a great personalities and caring supportive spirits. On a final note I stayed at Platinum Care Recovery House. They were close to the clinic, in a safe area and had a beautifully decorated and sterile like clean interior. They provided superior care and they really took time to provide me with the well balanced post lipo/bbl nutrition that is paramount in aiding in the final surgical results. They even accommodated my vegetarian dietary needs. If you choose to go to Medina and/or Platinum Care Recovery House, you'll be in great hands.
