About me:
I have been eating more healthy since the beginning of the year and I exercise regularly with Virgin Active gym classes. Hate running ( even though I know it is probably the best method). weight 60kgs, body fat 27.9%,17kg, muscle 68.5%, 42kg according to a Boditrax. (It may not be accurate but gym goers use this as standard measurement, best possible).
I have lost 3cm for my thigh in the past two years, but it is just not good enough for me.
My measurements: chest 88cm, waist is 68cm, hip 99cm, thigh 61cm(widest area). Not good enough in my eyes.

After research I have decided to try this liposonix, as I am too scared to have needles poking around in my body - liposuction.

Consultation:
Consultation was done with Rachel, who is really nice and patient with all my questions. Based on my description and examination for my body, Rachel said that she believed that I was a good candidate for this treatment. I am trying anyway, I understand it may or may not work.

I was just not sure about the pain as I have never done this treatment before. Rachel assured me that the appointment usually allowed 2 hours time in case if it is painful and we could stop and take rest anytime during the treatment.

I have paid GBP150 deposit and booked my appointment.

To be fair after the research you have done, you do not really have any questions.

Pre-treatment:
Photos!
Marking the areas!

Treatment:
Rachel sprayed water on my right thigh, then put the machine head on the area, then it begins!
1. Ok, not painful at all
2. Oh? some small sharp feeling
3. Ahh someone pinched me!
4. Ok... more water please on the area
5. AHHH this is a bit painful ...
6. Ok.. fine I am used to it

I find the area near my bottom is more sensitive. But Rachel said that I had really good level of torlenace and we did not need to take a break during the process.

I have done laser hair removal for leg, under arm and my entire private area (most painful as most sensitive), so I think this treatment is ok.

Rachel helped me by 1) spaying water to cool the area down, 2) talk to me to get me distracted, 3) pinch me gently around the area to distract me. No3 worked the best..... The art of distraction.

After one thigh, there was my other thigh...

We started to take measurements after the treatment, but I didnt understand why she did not take measurements before the treatment.

I then booked my review in 3 weeks time, usually 2 weeks, but Rachel was away.

So total time for the appointment is around 2 hours, and treatment time is around 30mins each side i think so 1 hour.

After treatment:
When I walk, I can feel it is sore, like I have done a hard work out for an area that I have never worked before... No bruise yet as of tonight.

I will keep updating!

(I have some discoloration due to mosquito bites in August. please ignore)

Post Liposonix Day1

Today I have been feeling...minor discomfort. I can feel that the treated area is a bit larger than it used to be, I guess it was swollen underneath. No sign of bruise yet. Felt my jeans are tighter...

No gym today...

Discomfort has gone

Rachel, who has performed the treatment for me, tried to call me but I dnt answer calls with a number I dnt know, so she emailed me. I’m happy to respond on email :) She said I could resume gym work out.

I did body pump class this Friday at 6-7pm at VirginActive and doing Pilates at 1-2pm or Zumba 2-3pm on Saturday.

The discomfort within my inner thigh has faded away, and I think they are not swelling that much anymore :)
