Look much younger - fat injections & got rid of bags under eyes

I went to this doctor to get rid of my bags under my eyes last year. When I saw him he advised he could also do some fat injections there too which really helped to rejuvenate the area too. Very happy with the outcome and I look much younger again

Q: Am I a good candidate for alar base reduction, since my nose is already upturned and I don't want a piggish effect? (photo)
Answered by Dr. AlexandridesApril 19, 2024

A: Hello! So an Alar Base Reduction reduces the width of nose, which you said you want to achieve, so there's no reason why you wouldn't be a good candidate for this as it is one of your aims. As you mentioned your problem is with the tip and nostrils, so an Alar Base Reduction can help to reduce the wideness of them and then you should speak to your surgeon about combining it with a Tip Refinement procedure. Since you are already having your surgery performed in the open technique, your surgeon will have greater access to the structure and cartilage of the nose and can help alter the nose to not look upturned – from all angles. As you mentioned this is happening in April, I'm wishing you all the best in your upcoming procedure and to just reiterate your concerns to your surgeon on the day so they are completely clear about your surgical expectations.

Q: What procedure would you recommend? Help! (Photo)
Answered by Dr. AlexandridesApril 2, 2024

A: Looking at your photos, it seems your jawline definition is very good and there does not appear to be prominent jowls. A Non-Surgical Treatment route could be beneficial for you, skin-tightening treatments like Morpheus and Potenza RF Microneedling can help. Even a treatment called Thermage JawSculpt, which is what we offer at 111 Harley St. could be be suitable for you too, which is a combination of Botox and Thermage to both slim and tighten the face. If you're interested in a Lower Facelift, this too can help to sculpt the face and re-establish your face's natural contours so it depends how much of a dramatic result you wish to achieve. A more dramatic would equal a surgical procedure rather than non-surgical treatment. Micrografting is like a surgical alternative to filler, so this involves you natural, ultra-pure fat injected into the area lacking in volume – so this takes the form as a liquid whereas with a Chin Implant, the implant is made of silicone. So, depending on where you wish to achieve definition, one would be more suitable than the other. For you, I would not recommend this as you have already had Buccal Fat Removal so adding volume to this area would be counter-productive. If you are very unhappy with your appearance, book a consultation with a reputable surgeon or Practitioner who will be able to discuss options for you.

Q: 27 years old with loose skin on the forehead - is there any treatment? (photos)
Answered by Dr. AlexandridesMarch 15, 2024

A: Non-Surgical Treatments can help to reduce the appearance, skin-tightening treatments like Thermage, Potenza and Accent Prime. However, for the best results, I recommend a Brow Lift with Facial Fat Injections to help soften the folds and furrows in the upper facial third.

Q: Which surgical procedures would help me achieve a more rejuvenated look? (photos)
Answered by Dr. AlexandridesMarch 15, 2024

A: Hi, From looking at your pictures, I think you could benefit from the following procedures you mentioned. I perform a procedure called a Sculpting Facelift on patients who are younger than the typical age people usually have a Facelift (around 50s-70s), and it produces great and preventative results. It will especially help tighten the lower face, nasolabial folds and skin beneath your chin – and give you better jaw definition which I can see has been lost. I also think a Lower and Upper Blepharoplasty could help you achieve a more youthful appearance. However, I would recommend Facial Fat Injections in the tear trough region to help improve the hollowness there.

Q: Left eyebrow has drooped a little bit as well as my upper lid - Have I got ptosis? (photos)
Answered by Dr. AlexandridesMarch 8, 2024

A: Looking at your pictures, I can see what you're describing, however it it very very minor. This could be ptosis which is very common as we get older, it could also be that one eyebrow is more overactive than another. If you've had any anti-wrinkle treatments this could also be a sign that they are wearing off. Alternatively, you can use Botox to re-lift this. My advice would be to speak to you GP if this develops further
