4 Months Post-op from Lipo 360 with BBL
I had a BBL with Dr. Natalia Vidal in July 2024. Overall, I am very satisfied with the care I received from both Dr. Vidal and the staff at Pure. Everyone was kind and supportive throughout the entire process. However, I only saw the doctor briefly—once during my pre-op appointment and again on the day of surgery.
During my pre-op, I emphasized that addressing the back rolls around my bra line and behind my armpits was a priority for me. The doctor assured me this was achievable and did not express any concerns about it being unrealistic. Although I could tell she was busy and in a hurry, I trusted that I was being heard during this appointment despite its brevity. Unfortunately, at four months post-op, I see very little improvement in those areas. While I am pleased with how the front of my body looks, I feel the back, particularly the areas I highlighted as my main concern, was largely overlooked.
I also voiced during my pre-op that achieving a more proportional appearance was one of my primary goals. Sadly, I don’t feel this goal was met. The front of my body does look better, but it is overshadowed by the disproportionate amount of back fat I am now left with. It honestly looks unnatural—my stomach is flat with little to no fat, but I still have thick back rolls.
I reached out to one of the nurses at Pure and sent multiple photos to illustrate my concerns, hoping to discuss potential solutions, but I received no response. Given the premium pricing compared to other surgeons in the South Florida area, the lack of follow-up was disappointing.
If your starting point involves minimal fat on your back, I would recommend Dr. Natalia Vidal. However, for those with a more challenging starting point, like mine, I would suggest considering a different surgeon.
