So Incredibly Thankful

I just wanted to come on here to whole heartedly Thank Dr. Janjua and his entire team for such an amazing experience. About 10 -15 years ago i got silikon 1000 injected into my upper and bottom lip. Silikon 1000 is for retinal detachment and is used as off label use for lips. Over the course of time throughout those years i did get a couple rounds done until the fullness that i wanted was achieved but my last injection was probably 8 years ago. At first my lips looked great. They were full and natural looking. I received so many compliments and I remember thinking to myself this was one of the best decisions i ever made but boy was i wrong. I would like to add that i was young and wanted something permanent. I didn't want to have to go back to a doctor every so often when the typical filler used wore off to get touch ups and since silikon 1000 was permanent I thought i had found the answers to my prayers. Over the course of all these years things started to change with my lips particularly my upper lip. It developed a very puffed appearance and from my profile you can see my upper lip was protruding forward. The reason for this is that behind my upper lip i had loads of scar tissue and silikon build up that was creating this weird look. It was like almost a band was formed. Also my upper lip looked kinda stretched out, i assume from being overfilled and was aging me. I hated the look. My bottom lip for now is ok a little fuller than i would like but does not need a reduction according to Dr. Janjua. I have been to Dr. Janjua before for different procedures and i loved his work. He is a very kind and professional doctor. He is extremely busy and when i called to make an appt to have this done about a year ago they had informed me it would be months before i could see him bc he was all booked up but they would put me on his wait list. They were so good and would always call me when something became available which i really appreciated. We finally found a date that worked. When i arrived they took me right in there was no wasting time. His nurse Lilly is so sweet and caring. Dr. Janjua came in and explained everything to me and i was taken into the procedure room. His sterile technique is exceptional. The most painful part was the injection of the anesthesia which wasnt bad at all just a little sting here and there. Then i felt nothing when he began the actual procedure. After everything was finished they sat me up and cleaned me off. Gave me some further instructions and made sure i was ok to leave. I even drove myself home with no issues and i live over an hour away. Dr. Janjua walked me to my car to make sure i was really ok which was really sweet of him. I could go on and on in detail but then this will be so long. When i got home i did start feeling some pain and discomfort. It was kind of a burning sensation. I took Tylenol and a (valium part of my scripts) and took a nap. When i woke up the pain was a lot better. I was extremely swollen so i iced and iced as much as i could. I also took my medrol dosepak which definitely helped with the swelling and my antibiotics. Its now Friday and i cant even believe the change. The swelling is almost gone and my upper lip looks amazing. I didnt think i was going to look this good this quickly. Everyone’s body heals differently so please keep that in mind but even so i know its thanks to his technique and expertise. I also wanted to add please take it from me dont ever get anything permanent injected into your body. It is one of the worst decisions you will make and will have to pay the price for it one day but if you did already make this mistake like me please go to Dr.Janjua. He will change your life for the best!
