Lip Reduction to Remove Silicone Bumps
AFNYJanuary 9, 2020
WORTH IT$3,000
I had a small amount of silicone injected into either side of my top lip in 2006 in order to correct what I had thought was an imbalance between my top/bottom lips. As it turned out, the root cause was my teeth were shifting. Fast forward to a couple of years ago and I had Invisalign (didn't know that bottom teeth are supposed to be tucked behind top teeth!)... and the silicone now looks terrible!
I'm getting it removed tomorrow with Dr. Tornambe. Fingers crossed!

UPDATED FROM AFNY
Day of treatment
Swollen!

Half of the swelling is the saline/medicine solution he injected after marking but prior to surgery. I'm feeling extremely sore but am happy to be finally done. The stitches look lopsided but the doctor told me this is normal due to the swelling. My neighbor across the hall is a retired plastic surgeon and he says it looks like a great job as well... will add more pics as the days go by.

Still super swollen, but at least the color has returned to my lip. I haven’t been icing as much as I should because of having to deal with two young children... also, my younger one accidentally whacked his head right into my kisser last night, which caused throbbing pain for at least half an hour.

Well done! things can only get better from now on. I'll keep my finger crossed... thank you for updating.... I'm sure all will be fine... I will have to undergo the same procedure.
