How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.
If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

Was it worth it in the end?
I went back about a year later (maybe a little more since they kept rescheduling last minute).
I waited two hours in the waiting room. This happened to me over the course of my journey three separate times. I counted a dozen times where I was sent to voicemail and would get my voicemails/emails/Klara texts ignored. Three times where I was told by someone “I’ll get back to you” and never heard from again. No apology, ever. Ever. Even after they knew damn well I’d been sitting out there for two hours.
I told him my concern with the scarring. He told me to put makeup over it. No other tips or advice for healing it. I felt that was quite inconsiderate considering I was an anxious crying mess with a burning red scar across my nostrils. A few months later they offered to revise it. Dr. Ching’s mediocre bedside manner and inability to give me straight answers made me reconsider this. I’ll stick with the scar rather than undergo a revision. At least not with him. I feel I can no longer trust him.
I am tired of being treated like an inconvenience when it comes to Dr. Ching and his team. The same thing happened with the double chin lipo. He has a great team but time and time again, I left feeling like crap.
Needless to say, I flew out to the mainland to get the other surgery I initially wanted to get with him.

Lip lift 1.5 year update (part 2)
Crazy difference right? I had only two things done between these two:
1. The lip lift
2. Some accutane
Both made my nose become half its size and the lip lift changed my philtrum!
As for scarring. Some people warned me about it because I am young and yes I scarred more than I thought I would.
I called them up six months post and they said they couldn’t do much but wait for it to heal. However a few months ago they did offer to revise the scar for free but i was too worried it’d scar even worse. The scar isn’t discolored any more just a little bumpy but I can live with it. Still worth it

Lip lift Update year and a half later
I’m back with an update a year and a half later. I will post more about the scarring cause I got a pretty big update in that regards.
Overall I think it was definitely worth it. I had a grinch face (don’t even try to lie to me) and this completely changed not only the shape of my lips, but my philtrum length, and it made my face appear shorter and and my nose smaller. Will post Better comparisons later.
