Dr. Linkov’s Photo of my Lip Lift

This is his photo which I just saw on his site; it shows the transformation better than my photos I think. I also realised that the lift helped a lot to lessen the marionette lines, which are impossible to correct without a mini lift. The mistake a lot of people make is using filler, which overtime gives a pillowface, unnatural looking result. Yes, filler is less expensive but it will destroy your face (think of “Charlotte” from Sex in the City in 2000s and now).

After my upper lip lift I had fat transfer to the bottom lip with Dr. Kotlus - he was also great. Here are photos from December 2021. Still absolutely thrilled with results. Anyone considering a lip lift should really onli consider this surgeon; his technique is unparalleled. Thank you Dr. Linkov!

5 Days Post Surgery
Swelling is significantly down, no pain, still love the results! Bottom lip is now significantly smaller, which I will be injecting a touch of my own fat into next week, as I want to avoid all filler moving forward. Having had used it over the last decade, I am now completely against it for several reasons:
1) After you begin getting filler you tend to lose perspective of what your lips really look like; that “sexy” pout is in actuality a protruding, unnatural face accessory that ages and detracts from one’s facial proportions. And yes, I include myself in this delusion as I scroll through photos of my lips over the years.
The lift isn’t a competitor to Juvederm et al., it’s simply a superior, natural way to have a fuller mouth.
2) The filtrum will only grow over time and injections become pointless as that “flip” gets harder and harder to achieve due to the injections growing in a shelf like manner rather than a pouty youthful flip.
3) It looks (and is) 100% natural. No more bruising after injections ( this is always possible regardless of the Dr. or injector’s expertise level).
4) No more scar tissue forming under the lip.
5) In NYC a Dr. charges between $800-1200 for filler and this is simply an economical solution.

Hey, thanks for your review! You will look great :) I also had a lip lift and consider fat transfer. But do you know whether this really looks natural? And will it last? Normally, it needs to be done in several rounds as far as I know? Happy healing!
Good luck with the fat transfer. I had it done and it lasted me all of 2 months. A big waste of money.

Completely agree about the repeated use of filler. Lip lift is the more economical and natural looking option. Have you considered a vermillion advancement for the lower lip? I certainly don't think you need it though. You had a lovely result and have beautiful lips. I would be lucky to get my lips to look like your before picture after a lift.
Hi, I had a fat transfer with Dr. Kotlus to my bottom lip. I am not familiar with vermillion advancement ?!
Your lip looks great already ith the fat transfer. I believe vermillion advancement is the removal of a section of skin just above the top lip or below the bottom lip with the intention to get more red lip show.
