a HORRIBLE experience with Greg Bran

A stitch left in

I’ve realised there is a stitch still left in my nose from the surgery and now I’m stuck with it - don’t know who can remove it and scared to go back to Mr Bran’s clinic. They are late responding to my complaint too. What a nightmare this whole thing has been :-(

Why the h*ll did he put a stitch in the nostril?
And I’m sorry btw, I understand that you don’t want to go back to them when they treated you horribly. You are not alone just so you know.
Thank you - knowing other people's stories with him has been shocking but I feel less alone.
I'm so sorry to read your sad experience. He's not registered? What does this mean? He was recommended to me by a renowned plastic surgeon in London for my problem (problematic assymetric lip lift with hard and contracted scar). I hope you have found the right surgeon now and that you recover from this trauma. I was ready to take an appointment to this doctor but I'm scared now. Would you tell me in PM the name of the surgeon that you trust now? That would be so helpful.
Yes will DM you now x
Hi, can you also dm me the name of the doctor you trust? x
Hi, have you had your lip lift surgery ? I'm looking for options for a lip lift scar revision surgery
Just about to book with this surgeon can you dm me please
I’m so sorry this happened to you, I was also due to have a VY but this has made me think twice. Did you have a lip lift at the same time?
any update from this? I was considering Greg for a lip lift and VY plasty having previously used him for another procedure which was a positive experience but this sounds horrible.
ORIGINAL POST

Warning: A HARROWING Experience with UNREGISTERED Mr Greg Bran

My lip lift led to an ARTERY rupturing 7 times, I ended up in A&E 5 times because Mr Bran was on holiday over Christmas, his OFFICE WAS CLOSED and I am left with the bill of hundreds of pounds. He is NOT registered with British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgeons, or any of the schemes designed to protect you. It was terrifying and I was shocked by how different he behaved as soon as I asked him to cover the cost of the consultation. A horrible man pretending to be nice to get your money. Go literally ANYWHERE else if you value your safety. More detaill to follow.

What type of lip lift did you have? Corner liplift?
No I had a lower lip lift, or V-Y Plasty. x
Lower lip lift? There is no such procedure in the US. Only upper lip and corners. This is frightening
Yes there is
You are misinformed. A v-y plasty (lower lip lift) is a common procedure in the US. Look at the site of Dr Randall Haworth, based in California. He discusses it at length.
I had a vy plasty x
I had liplift done by Greg B, too. But far from anything like this happening. He helped me with other problems i had from before as well, treatments and talk-support. I felt he gave me a lot of his time over skype and in real life to look/talk/help me with my concerns. Genuinly. Im sorry to see u have had a scary experience. Please update us! I hope you have gotten some help by now?
Thank you. I’m glad yours went well. I have now been seen and treated by another provider that I found and paid for. All the best x
Ok. I hope you feel peace and are more happy now! Take care
Thank you, you too.
May I ask who your provider is? I had planned a revision by him, but you are now the second one with such a terrible story. His behaviour after the operation is particularly traumatising. It reminds me a lot of my surgeon who gave me a botched lip lift. I am glad you've at least found some help.
