Obsessed with upper & corner lip lift results - 3 days post-op

No lipstick and no concealer; I have no visible scarring 3 years post op. This picture is for those who have asked for photo without makeup. Still over the moon with the results. I have cosmetic microneedling done on a regular basis which has helped make the residual scarring virtually undetectable.

One year post op and I am so so so happy I decided to have this surgery! My lips now have balanced proportions on my face and I feel so rejuvenated!

I continue to get 1/2 a vile of Kisse HLA filler injected into my lips around every 4-6 months (have had filler twice since surgery)

I also do a Botox lip flip every 2-3 months, and continue to have Botox injected into the depressor muscles of the bottom lip at the same time, to keep those muscles from pulling mouth corners down that were moved up during original surgery

My scars are BARELY visible IF you know what to look for and if I’m not wearing any makeup
I do not have to use any type of concealer to cover them The girl who does my injections is amazed by how well the incisions healed, she comments on each visit how talented Dr Mascaro is with his stitching She has said ona few occasions already, “Oh man he is good! I cannot see that you had any work done at all”

I did use the scar gel that the Dr recommended, every night, for a full year
And I was EXTREMELY careful to follow post op instructions to the letter

It’s such a small thing and it makes such an enormous difference!

Six months post op, and I love my lips :-D

(I recently had lip filler for the first time in a year)

I now have completely normal movement back and zero tightness

Everyone tells me I look “fresh” “glowy” “youthful” -but literally no one gives me funny looks or a sideways glances; No one can tell that I had surgery because the result is subtle and natural, and the scars are not noticeable at all

In fact, The scars are actually more visible in these photos than they are in person, due to the shadow my nose casts on the area With makeup on, the scars are completely invisible

I have marked with red arrows in one photo where wrinkles are visible in the area where the corners of my mouth used to turn down
I asked the technician who did my lip filler if she could fill them but she said it would look strange and suggested microneedling instead/I definitely will be starting that soon

The other photo has an arrow pointing to a small bump right above my scar under my nose This is not hyperteophy of the scar itself, but likely just congestion/blocked pore that has been there since about 10 days post surgery A few different medical professionals that I know personally have advised me to leave it alone, saying it will disappear on its own It has definitely gotten smaller over time and I have faith it will go away completely within the year

Overall I love my results and I loved Dr Mascaro-his bedside manner is so caring and personable; he really treats you like he’s known you all your life ! I am so happy I went thru with these procedures and I know that when I am ready for a face/neck lift, I will be seeing Dr Mascaro again
