i’m very happy with the profound. i felt like i wanted a facelift before but knew it was too early and all the drs i asked agreed, the profound really helped and i don’t feel like i need a facelift anymore. the downtown was more than what i found advertised, i wasn’t comfortable socially for probably about 2 weeks, but it’s definitely worth it.

yeah- it’s a little insane for a lip lift. but my regular surgeon who i trust and is reasonably priced didn’t want to do it, so I ended up paying the markup and do feel it was worth it.

wish I could help but I don’t remember unfortunately. I want to say no antibiotics were prescribed but can’t say for sure. it’s done under local so medication is minimal.

Hi @shooz33, I just had the procedure done 10 days ago. Medications prescribed are: antibiotic, anti-viral, a steroid, something for nausea (only if needed - I did not need), and a pain killer (only if needed - I did not need). Hope this helps.

Hi hawaiikarin 19. Yes I had my lip lift on June 11th with Dr Talei!! You will love him.. he is so nice and I felt so relaxed with him. The procedure is painless. After the first injection was given I just sailed true it. I love my lip lift it is the best thing I have ever done for myself!! I had very thin lips and now I have lips that I love. Sorry I have not written a review yet but I just returned to Australia 2 days ago. I have family in LA so I spent 2 months there. I will be writing a review in the next two weeks!! Hi :) I just saw your reply,. I had my lip lift in September with Dr. Talei, I also had the aura lift .its been a month, my lips look pretty so far but I can't smile at all!!! How long did it take for you to smile? Dr. Talei is unbelievable, I literally have no scars from the aura lift!!!! I haven't done a review yet either, probably wait till the 3rd month when he says things really look good. Did you find that to be true? Karin

Hi Hawaiikarin19!! Delighted to hear you are very happy with Dr Talei!! It's only one month since your lip lift that's very early days to be able to smile yet!! I'm four months since my lip lift and I'm still a little stiff!! It looks perfect and no one would notice I'm not smiling properly but I can feel a little restriction!! You will love yours more and more especially when the three month mark arrives!! It makes such a difference to ones face when the lip is lifted!! You must be over the Moon with having an Aura Lift as well!! I wold love to have one!! I've seen photos of it and everyone looks amazing!! Is the Aura Lift very expensive? Are you posting photos on your review? I wish I could get started on my review because I found all the reviews very helpful. I'm just not very motivated at the moment!! Hi Aruam:) thanks for the encouraging words, I need to relax & have more patience I know:) the aura lift was $27k But I have no scars, it's amazing, worth the money to have such a skilled surgeon! I'll post pics at 3 months I think. Thanks again for writing back!
