Very Nice Staff but Terrible Results

Dr. Saxon and her staff are incredibly kind people but I’ve been absolutely floored by how minimal (practically none) of a difference they made for me cosmetically. I spent over $12,000 total (came in for an upper eye lift, ended up agreeing to an upper eye lift and a lip lift), went through the bruising and swelling period, recovery of not eating, not laying down, etc, and now (almost 3 months later) there’s still no difference in how my face looks. At my one month follow up the staff (all very sweet people, they even sent me flowers because at my one week I told them how I was dealing with my mother in law recovering from a stroke) well they all tell me “oh you look so great!” I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry or yell. There’s absolutely no difference at all in what I look like (I’ll share a separate post on my upper bleph). Not a single person I know (outside of their office…) has commented on any difference. I have an identical twin sister and even she hasn’t noticed it. I understand the idea of subtle cosmetic work, but this was absolutely ridiculous. I wouldn’t have paid thousands of dollars, endured a challenging recovery (can’t eat, have to sleep sitting up, swelling, etc), and now have a scar under my nose as well if I knew it would’ve been this “subtle.” I wish Dr Saxon as the medical professional and expert would have just been honest that there wouldn’t be much of a result and turned me away. I’d have rather her even keep the money and not have put me through surgery recovery and a facial scar. It was definitely not worth it.

Oh my gosh! Yes I see what you mean, I don’t see a difference. I think the staff are trained to compliment their clients. I get that a lot from aestheticians especially,
I recently (6 weeks) had a lateral brow lift and in 1 week the brow was back where it was. When he took out the stitches I didn’t want to say anything then but I have booked a consult for this Friday, I saved for 6 months and had bruises for two weeks and my brows look the same. Luckily my scars in my hairline or I would be more upset.
