Lip Lift: Natural, Subtle, Big Difference!! (4mm)

The most difficult part of this procedure for me was to calm my nervousness before the procedure.
Although I have known how meticulous Dr. Pearson is from my previous experiences, I was very very nervous about this lip procedure until I actually sat down in his operation chair. (I almost ran away because I was so nervous, which is now so funny that the procedure itself was much easies once it started.) From my initial consultation with Dr. Pearson, he was always very patient, taking the time to explain in detail and answering all my questions.
The initial numbing injection was like what you get at a dental office. After that, I did not feel any pain.
The procedure itself was no more than 1 hour, including the numbing process. I drove myself home for about 40 minutes afterward and took pain medications that night, and again the next morning just for a precautionary measure. My procedure was on Friday in the late afternoon. I stayed home the next day, and I went back to my office the following day (Sunday) as I was feeling fine. My lips did not swell much and there were no bruises. His stitches were very fine and beautifully done, but unfortunately, the thread was in dark blue, so I wore a facemask till Dr. Pearson removed the stitches after 7 days. (You can wear makeup to hide redness after stitches are removed.)
Dr. Pearson and I decided to go with 4mm, and I am very happy with the result. The result is subtle but I think it created a better balance on my face. Nobody noticed at my workplace, I think it is because it fits my face naturally.
After my procedure, Dr. Pearson called me later that evening to check on me, and also for the next few days. He was also available to answer my questions via text and email. His office staff (Megan and 2 other ladies I met) were also very nice and made me feel at ease.
