Beautiful shape, ugly scar.
Sorry for the bold title, I just wanted to keep this an honest review. So I‘m approx. 6mo post op and I still love my result. Philtrum length has „dropped“ from 7.7 to approx. 8-8.5mm as predicted by Dr. Mascaro (just measured for the review update) which is the perfect length for my face. The scar on the other hand has worsened in the past month or two, the left side is okay, the right side is not pretty, see for yourself. Microneedling once a week hasn’t helped. Have scheduled CO2 and hoping for the best. Doc said I might be needing 2-3 sessions. If I lived in the US, I‘d definitely be going for scar revision on the right side.

Are you using topicals for the scar?
Used the Silagen scar cream Dr. Mascaro gave me until it was empty..

Thank you for the update...much appreciated :). I know over time the scar will continue to heal and new healing techniques become available to the market. Did Dr M have anything to say how it’s healing or suggestions?

As promised, here comes the 3 months update. I’m extremely happy with the result. My whole face looks so much more balanced and younger. The scar is significantly less visible than the one I previously had. Still hoping for it to fade away a bit more. (Might start lightly microneedling after consulting Dr. M.)

Thank you for the update. Glad this worked out so beautifully! Can you please post a 3 month photo of the front & side view & show a little more of your face to give a better perspective of the facial proportion? (You can blur out or cover the eyes to remain anonymous).

Congrats on your great results! I have my procedure scheduled for October with Dr M., pretty nervous and excited! How is your healing now that you're 6 months out? Did you ever have to go through with the microneedling?
