My experience with dr van de Ven was excellent! The procedure was quick and almost painless. There was no bruising, only some swelling. I am now 3 weeks post-op and my results are beautiful and natural, exactly what i wanted.

About how long were swollen for? (where people could notice) was it 2 weeks? Or longer? I'm trying to plan my schedule!

I had swelling for about 6 weeks, especially my nose. I had a revision after 6 weeks because the scar didn't heal right. I had an allergic reaction to the subcutaneous stitches.

Hi, I'm not sure you're going to see this but are you still happy with your results? I'm thinking about getting the same procedure but I'm worried about the scarring specifically. Is it very visible for you? Also did you have to pay for the revision? Thanks!

This are my 1 year after pics, i have also added a full face one before (weird) and after.

I literally took the before foto 1 hour before i had the lift done,
and i look tired and worried but i still included it so you can see the amazing difference in proportion.

I'm not wearing any make up, i was not sure about the scar at first, since i'm 33 and my skin isnt as resillient as it used to be but it has healed great and invisible now. I had some numbness in the tip of my nose the first months but not anymore.

Considering some fillers or maybe permanent makeup to increase the (illusion of) volume in my upper lip.

You really don't need any fillers or permanent makeup, it's such a wonderful AND natural looking result! I'd especially stay clear of permanent makeup, chances are it only messes with what already looks perfect now.

I had my lips done with permanent make-up. I love it! made such a difference as one side of my top lip was not even with the other.
