As you can see, I do have a full and higher upper lip but still can’t see my upper teeth which I’m still disappointed about. It’s not the doctors fault at all. I just have short teeth. If I did it higher, it would look too unnatural and distorted. This will be by final picture for now. I’ll try to post another in 6 months and 1 year. I hope this helps with anyone looking to do this procedure. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Jumaily!

Hello- would you mind to describe your recovery a bit? How long you were swollen and any tips on improving recovery? I have to spend a lot of time on Zoom calls (part of the reason why I want this surgery) and want to know how soon I might feel comfortable going back to work. Thanks for anything you can share about your experience!
My recovery was SO smooth. I didn’t feel pain, just tightness under my nose as to be expected. I got the procedure done 11/22 and was very swollen the following day. 11/24 was Thanksgiving and we hosted. The swelling started to subside. I was worried about our guests noticing but they all thought I just got fillers…. Not sure is they saw the sutures. I applied an ice pack for 3 days. 15min on and off as well as taking Arnica a week prior and a week post. By day 5-6, swelling was very minimal but I know swelling takes about a full 3 months to diminish. I felt comfortable enough to go out in public after my sutures were removed on day 7. 2 weeks post op

Swelling is very minimal. I’ll start laser treatments in a few months to minimize the scar. The doctor said I started with about 15mm and he removed about 5mm. I still don’t have any upper teeth showing but that’s because I have short teeth. The healing was so easy. I didn’t have to take any pain meds. Overall, I’m so happy!
