Love the results even with all of the swelling

I found Dr. Cem on RealSelf based on all of his GLOWING 5-star reviews, and I must say I 100% agree with what everyone has to say about Dr. Cem and his staff. From the online consultation to meeting for the first time in office, I felt I had his undivided attention - he took the time to respond to all of my questions in depth and raise awareness to aspects of the surgery I may not have considered. He was honest, set realistic expectations and did not try to sell me on additional procedures.
I had the lip lift surgery done on 3/1, so I am writing this review only 6 days post-procedure, and I absolutely LOVE the results even with all of the swelling. The procedure itself was done in-office under local anesthesia, took a total of 20-30 minutes, and I experienced no pain other than the initial anesthesia shots. Based on all of my research on the surgery, I was expecting external sutures along my entire nasal base. However, after removing the suture tape 2 days later to clean the area, I was pleasantly shocked to see a very minimal, clean, and closed/healed(?) incision with suture ties only on either side of my nostril. I obviously am not a surgeon, so I am not sure how Dr. Cem managed this, but the incision looked better 2 days post-op than what I've seen online in other patients at 7 days. I am confident the incision will heal beautifully with minimal, if any, scarring.
I also had a CO2 laser done at a dermatologist office recommended by Dr. Cem. Because the dermatologist office did not have any English speaking associates, Dr. Cem and his lovely health coordinator, Idil, accompanied me to the dermatologist's office and helped translate the procedure, paperwork, payment, etc. If I did not already emphasize enough, I felt very cared for by Dr. Cem and his staff, and received VIP treatment as I believe all of his patients experience.
Overall I must say Dr. Cem and his staff are the MVPs of plastic surgeons in Istanbul and I will definitely be back in 5-10 years for a face lift. THANK YOU Dr. Cem, you have given me my dream lips <3.
