I wanted to make sure to post a review here because this is the main site I relied on for reviews and insight on lip lifts. I also found Dr. Turowski here through other patients' reviews of his work. I liked their lip lift photos and decided to go to him for a consultation. So glad I did; I'm very happy with his work!
I love that my philtrum area is no longer soooo long (see before photo). The best part is I have some upper teeth show--I never had that! The scar is pretty easy to hide with a little makeup. Even without makeup, I don't think anyone would notice unless they got up close to me. I'm almost 2 months post-surgery and the scar is still pinkish-red but with the silicone scar treatment, it's smoothing out more each day.
The recovery is not physically painful but it is an emotional rollercoaster. The first few days I was like, 'What have I done?!' But each day, things settle into place. For me, the procedure was 100% worth it!

Great results! I remember the first time I heard about this procedure. I had no idea that people did this, and it was exactly what I needed! It took me a while to decide to do it, but so worth it! You were a perfect candidate for it. Congrats!!

I remember hearing about it and thought I want this! Then I went online and looked at what was actually involved and some videos and thought no way! But then I kept looking at before and Afters, and actually within a few months I was ready to do it. So glad I did as well!

Beautiful result! Like you, I wish I had known about this surgery much sooner. I have a similar lip to your before photos. What was you initial philtrum length and how many mm were removed?

Thanks, I was at 20mm and am at about 15mm now. (I measure from base of nose to lowest point of Cupid’s bow.)

Very similar to my numbers. Right after I was about 12 or 13mm, and dropped to about 14 or 15. I still think I could take off a couple more mms, but, like yours, it is really natural looking and attractive

I have heard there’s some additional drop as time goes by. I hope it’s minimal. My 80-year-old father has a massive space between his nose and upper lift. I figure having this procedure at least helps me avoid that look.
