Let me start by saying that when I first met Dr Tower the lip lift was not what the consultation was for… but while there he observed and pointed out very delicately something I honestly have always felt about my lip..”that it was always there, just hiding”… Dr Tower explained his observation and how he could bring the vision to light…I was elated to see that a plastic surgeon could finally enhance something I was always a little self conscious about but never really thought it was even a possibility “tha is to change it”…
Fast forward to the day of the procedure I was nervous but excited.. it did not take long and full disclosure that extra little pill made everything lovely…
Day 1-7- “whoa”.. swelling and tightness - all threre but no pain really.. just waiting to see what it was going to look like
Week 2 for me was probably the hardest because now the swelling has gone down significantly and I started to see what it “might” begin to look like…but the reason why it was so difficult for me was because .. I had what is referred to as the “bunny effect” which was NOT aesthetically pleasing.. AT ALL”..
Full disclosure- I panicked a little.. it is importantbto also note that being of a certain age, when you “lift” a portion of your face and not the rest the area that is lifted becomes more pronounced.. which is why I think many facelifts are done with lip lifts… so if k was 25, I may not have noticed the lip so much..
This was the most difficult time of the whole process, but I have to say that the team .. Dr Tower and Carol were
So kind, wonderful and patient with my anxiety and knew exactly how to handle it.. they were thorough in explaining it all and assured me that it would “settle”… which I knew but for anyone that’s ever had any type of plastic surgery done waiting for the final result is definitely the hardest part!
So now it’s been about 3 months.. and not only were they right but I am so happy with my results..
I cat I think Dr Tower for not only his artistic eye, but his delicate bedside manner and patient approach he is truly the best!!! And Carol what a sweetheart.. I can’t thank her enough for holding my hand through this whole process..
